  1. pureti.me is dead. You can use this one for now http://puretime-asia.com/ but apparently you can't use credit cards via that site. New site coming shortly. I'll update my TD tool with the new site when it's known. (a new version is in the wings that gets it's data live from a server so that old outdated versions with outdated info in them won't be floating around) Thanks to aseangm (RWg shoutbox) and Hyjynx (RWG.bz) for the info.

  2. Glycine Incursore Chrono Day Date automatic watch powered by Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement. Large 46mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal. Yellow dial with magnifying glass over day/date calendar and tachymeter scale Black leather watch band, 100m/330ft /10atm. I think at 46 x15 should be good size for me.

  3. I didn't like panerai when I first joined, then all these buggers post beautiful pics and they slowly get into your head, rads are cool too. Now I m all grown up I've had 40mm 44mm 45mm 47mm in the past. 47mm is big on me don't care I like it, if people don't like it I will hit them with it

  4. Possibly, but I won't pay that much just for a case. The most difficult part of a rep to see a difference to the gen. Normally uninteresting, but possibly someone wants to build a complete franken.

  5. You can order directly from TC. I have been running one at COSC spec from day one without servicing.

  6. Man oh man, look at all the Alumni this topic brought out of the woodwork! All these gentlemen with over 8 years of time in the saddle. My hat's off to all of you! That's sure a nice collection... there's God's Own COMEX in the bottom row, the DRSD to make a grown man cry, the MilSpec... all amazing pieces. But be grateful you disappeared for awhile. Yes the MBWs were nice... but a nefarious (nee: ungodly expensive) presence has taken over RWG, it's the siren song of the Big Crown. Many a brave soul here has fallen into the trap, and once-strong men have disappeared suddenly, only to reemerge, clawing themselves back to sanity from the yawning abyss, shredded and torn, clutching a finished Big Crown in their poxy grip. It's a disease. Or a punishment. I don't know which. It's nefarious. It's ugly. It's intoxicating, and before you know it, a $1,000 "special quality" case seems utterly reasonable. Within 6 month's time you're $5,000 or $6,000 into your build, and hiding receipts from your dog, as he eyes each and every precious parcel that comes in the door.... gazing meaningfully at you with those accusing eyes, wondering if he's going to have kibble this night. MBWs? Very nice.... but mere gateway drugs into the dark realm of the BC Customs. Be afraid. Be verrrrrrrrry afraid.

  7. He probably got molested as a child by a priest wearing a gold rolex rep. Now he is seeking "vengeance" on all those who wear reps. He probably finds pleasure as well when he touches himself in the shower wearing a canal street rep, that is not water proof. After the watch is filled to the brim with hot steam and water he smashes it with a hammer whilst crying and laughing with an evil tone at the very same time...

  8. So i finally got my 6263/5 back from the Zigmeister affectionally also known as " The Zigmeister"....I have to say I am quite impressed with the quality of all his work on my watches past and present and this 6263/5 build was just as amazing! The Zigmeister retapped the Phong case to accept the gen pushers and crown tubes. We decided to not use the V72 movement and opted instead for a V726 out of an old beat up Roamer. The V726 has the same beat rate and is closest to the Rolex 727 movement. It was a great movement ; but had not been serviced and was dirty, full of tar like gunk, and pretty dry; but it was unmolested. He did a full service overhual on the movement and it runs +/- 3 seconds per day.It is now just as good as a new old stock V726 and should last years with regular servicing. All the Chronos stop and reset perfectly. I could not ask for or found a nicer movement to use for this project. The Zigmeister worked his magic assembling the watch as well. He informed me all went well with the build and pretty much the only issue was to custom fabricate a couple of case tabs to secure the movement as the ones I supplied would not work.Imagine my surprise when the assembled watch finally came home to daddy!I have to say this has to be as close as your going to get to gen without buying the real mccoy.Everything is 100 % gen except for the v726 Roamer movement and Phong midcase.I even reshaped the lugs to the correct shape of the gen ever so slightly.and the midcase needed a little massaging to accomodate the gen 571 endlinks as well. However this particular case was pretty much perfect and .2mm within spec of a gen late model midcase. Enjoy the pics!
