  1. in the past everytime i would log into this forum, i always enjoyed reading and viewing posts for Victoria. then i did notice that she had not been around, posting or commenting on threads. i was gone for awhile and pop in periodically now; glad i came across this thread and good to know that our beloved Victoria will be back and she is safe.

  2. Pateks are lovely but just be sure you are stepping out of the back of a limo if you're wearing one.

    As stated above the Omega Deville is a beautiful dress watch and one that anyone could realistically own.

  3. Some good suggestions in here. The IWC Portugaise is a classic, but I've read that the current batch of them is lousy. Is this true?

    I've seen two VC's recommended here. They are now on my radar. I especially like the Vacheron Constantin Malte Retrograding Perpetual Calendar that Prince suggested. Here's Pix's photo of the same watch:

    I've owned many dress watches and everyone always loves the Pateks. Very classy and there are many models to choose from.

    Vacheron Constantine is good.

    and that Lange is great!

    thanks everyone for the best wishes for my wife's speedy recovery ... hopefully she'll be discharged on friday. early prognosis is for a 6 wk down time to recovery and then physical therapy and all of that good stuff.

    will let her know by rwg brethren are wishing her well!
