[censored] Off Kenberg! Just because I don't post a lot doesn't mean a thing. I have purchased from Joshua, Letiztozeiss, Overboosted and a few others over the course of almost a YEAR. My lust for a decent TT Sub rep, confusion of who George was, being told by another member that it was like Luckyyy's sub, and the dealer telling me it had a solid 18K band is what got me here. I have spent MONTHS researching where to get a decent TT Sub rep. I have exchanged emails with Eddie Lee, Joshua, and Precious Time in regards to what they offer. There was a huge thread where there was a lot of argument about whether this guy was legit or not. Even so called "senior members" were not in agreement. I think I have done a favor for the community by confirming that it is crap. I am so sorry that YOU have a problem with it.

Other members getting burned would not make me feel better I actually don't feel too bad. Just disappointed. I guess I might try Eddie Lees and see if I can get an OEM bracelet for it. My quest for a decent TT Sub continues.

Yes I sure did. What got me wanting this was member Kevin300z stated that this WM9 was just like Luckyyy's Blue TT Sub. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=7488&st=20 (see second thread from last) I then emailed dealer before i purchased asking very specific questions. He stated things like it was put together by some expert when I orderd and went through this whole QC process. He stated that it was also a solid 18k band, which for me justified the price if everything else was decent. There were mixed feelings about whether this was legit or not, and due to the protection of a CC, I decided to do something for the community and find out once and for all.

Sorry??? I left all the wrappers on, and I am sending it back. If they refuse.. I paid with a CC, and 10 letters will solve the problem... CHARGEBACK!

Okay members, I got my 16613 from Watchmaker9. I ordered middle of August and it got here yesterday. What was interesting is that he shipped it overnight from Taiwan. The tracking info states it left Taiwan Aug 30, and arrived in the USA on Aug 31. To me it screams fake. The bezel insert sucks, and I had a OEM one to replace it with (which you will see in one of the picture) The Oyster Perpetual font is too thick, and the date font sucks as well. The M's in Chronometer and 300m DO NOT line up. The swiss made is slightly to the left. The crown is a noticeably different color than the bezel. The one o clock marker is different from the rest (it has a thicker metal circle) The dial has the purpleish tint to it, but did not really show up in the pics. There is a sharp edge on the end link, which leads me to believe it is plated. I took a pic of that as well, but it doesn't show up well. The only thing i like about it is the rehaut, and the lume was halfway decent as well. Also its supposed to be waterproof, but I am not taking the wrapping off, so no testing that. I have a YM from Joshua I got last year. Will it fit any kind? Will the dial match the bezel? Would we be able to get new bezels that match the dial if not?

do a search for the dealer Joshua, aka Josh, aka Jos Nana... he is one of the best. I would also take a look at Precious Time seeing as how you are in the UK.

okay... now im a bit ticked... check this link out... apparently the "perfect" version is a 100 bucks more... check out the picks though.. lots of hi res! http://www.watchmaker9.tv/forum/viewtopic.php?t=544 the m's are lined up.. the 6 oclock marker is low.. the cgs look good, the bezel is a bit light, the laser etching is too visible, but the dial looks right.

Hmm... I don't know what to think now. There was another thread talking about Luckyyys MBW Blue TT Sub and it had lots of detailed pictures. A member who I thought was reputable, Kevin300z, posted the the linkw to WM9s website as an answer to someone asking where they could get one. I thought thats what I was going to get. I emailed this WM9 and he stated that it would be like that as well. Again I used a CC through a 3rd party processor (authorize.net) so if its not all it says it is... im sending it back.

i don't know... on my order confirm email, it said my piece was being "built" by an "expert" i know there is not a lot of gold in the tt... point is.. i just don't want plated. i know eddie lees was supposed to be decent... but he also has plated. i also heard el's bracelet was real stiff.. im taking it you liked yours...

i have bought from joshua, and so has the majority of this board. i would stick with him.. the only reason i am after this sub is because it has been advertised to me like mbw. not tw. i have been told it was deeper rehaut than tw. if its not, im sending it right back. another reason is the solid 18k mid links. joshua does not have this. he only has plated, which i do not want. i have had my joshua yachtmaster for almost a year now, and it is in great shape!

I thought I remember reading in a thread awhlie back that the gens can look purpleish depending on the light. Anways.. check this angle on a gen on ebay, that appears to be a reputable dealer.. looking quite purpleish.. and another

Good eye Jetsons... I see that now. While I am a big fan of attention to detail... I consider these minor issues which I can live with. Important to me in this purchase is 1) The Rehaut 2) Dial Color 3) The solid 18K bracelet I will of course be taking a link for analysis to make sure it is pure 18K and not wrapped or 14K or something else. I have ordered an aftermarket insert from ebay already.

I don't really care about the date font too much... I see what Jetsons is saying about the swiss made, also a non issue with me... what do you mean by the "'m's dont line up"? and what about my actuall question.. THE REHAUT!

Okay, Here are some pics of WM9 TT Blue Sub someone posted on his forum. They were dead links, but I figured out you have to be a member of KodakGallery.com to view them. They are not the greatest photos, but... but one shot appears to show a really nice rehaut. What do you think?

heh... so am I! I got an email from WM9 confirming my order saying that it should arrive by Aug 31st. We shall see.

it appears to me that Joshua's has deeper rehaut... is this the case?

Okay... I know the experts here have been screaming that WM9 is too expensive, but I honestly have not seen a Blue TT SUB that looks as nice as the one he offers.... SO I PULLED THE TRIGGER and just forked out USD $583 to this guy. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get it.
