  1. This would be the real deal, lets face it, how hard could it of been back in the day to supply all previous Subs with the correct size/position holes, the makers had done all the hard work with cases, dials, bracelets and always let it down with the lug holes and Polex etc engravings

  2. Well the MBK may be an option if it does indeed come with two dials or I could be guarenteed a white script on one I purchased otherwise it may just have to be an "aged" yellowey" dial. The 5517 looks good but the lugholes would be too big if I removed the fixed bars !

  3. Have searched the site and looked at lots of the dealers but can't find a 5513 with white print on the dial as it should be, think even the Mbk have it the same as the markers, can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks

  4. That's the one you want. You'd be lucky to find one.

Just thinking that they've made a very nice watch and slipped up on something very basic which would be very simple to fix but they appear to be still using it looking at the sub without lugholes.

  5. I love Tudor Subs, especially snowflake hands, think the only ones I've seen as reps are one offs using vintage or mbk/mbw cases and gen parts, The blue French Navy models are my favourite and they are all going up in value.

Less obvious than Rolex but just as nice, good look with the search and I've read various threads promising them but nothing as yet.Let me know if you find what your looking for

  6. With him saying they are 1:1 I assumed these would take gen cystals, inserts etc? I could be wrong or so could he !

What I want to know is iif the more expensive watches are definatly better or not, somebody must of bought one from him.

I want a 5513 but am also interested in an early Sub as well, thanks again

  7. Hi, has anyone bought Trusty's Top Grade Vintage Rolex. $218 as against $198 for the normal vintage, Andrew say's they have gen Swiss ETA and better cases and the web site says's they are 1:1 to genuine.I'm guessing this also means the cheaper has an ETA copy movement.

Also on there are some early "Bond" subs without crownguards which I really like ie. 5508,6538 at $228 are these the same as Sillix or better

Thanks in advance for your feedback
