  1. A month ago I would have said yes. I sold all my reps and purchased a gen Rolex 16610 submariner and a Montblanc Timewalker. A month later I have sold the Rolex and traded the Montblanc. I get bored easily with watches, theres so much variety and what with reps being so good these days Id rather pay a fraction of the price of a gen and have a few choice super reps and one mid price gen. I have an Omega PO arriving later today :)

  2. Yeah or I'm stupid :huh: Hey how about a Vintage Rolex submariner with a big crown or super dome?

    Any places supplying those replicas? Thank s

    You can find answers to all of your questions if you spend some time doing some research. Use the search button, the forms are full of information and just needs to be discovered. Will save you asking lots of questions on mutliple posts.

  3. Wow I never knew they werent solid is perfect clones a good sight??

    Thank you

    Would you really spend $4,300 on a replica watch?!!!!

    With no guarantees as to what your buying really is solid gold, a watch thats cobbled together in a backstreet factory in a China, you'd be a braver man than most.

  4. Need some advice and opinions on a Marcello C Tridente divers watch. Im toying with the idea of a PX and whilst it looks ok, im in two minds about it, what are your thoughts? Ive read some reviews and most of them are pretty favourable.

    Now the cyclops mag looks a little weak, and of course the design is hardly original, but what do you guys think?

  5. Anyone else seen this great documentery about bodybuilding and achieving greatness through working out and building muscle?

    If you grew up in the late 70's / 80's your icons were probaly Hulk Hogan, Sly and Arnie. Remember Conan the barbaraian? Rambo winning the Vietnam war? Rocky smashing Ivan Drago?

    The above conquered the 80's by using steroids and acheiving the American dream when back in the day, everyone was bigger, stronger and faster.

  6. How about your own prices Ajoe?

    - PAM27 original price 650$ + a few parts and mods worth ~400$(extra dial and hands + a relume) -> Your initial asking price ~1400$

    - Pam 29 original price ~600$ + a few parts worth ~200$ (gen crown + cyclops) -> Your initial asking price 1200$

    - Pam 63 original price ~ 600$ + a few parts worth ~200$ (gen crown + cyclops) -> Your initial asking price 1200$

    Seems to be very hypocritical of you flaming the dealers for asking high prices for there pieces, while you are taking advantage of these piece being rare and selling them at astronomical prices.

    This is the best point so far.

  7. Hi

    Can some members help please. I joined TRC ages ago when wanting to find out about reps, not long after I found RWG which was far more active and never used the other again. Now I have been told I have been charged 20 Euros for a recurring 6 month membership for a site thats closed and all the members coming over here.

    Conincedently my membership to RWG has just expired. Any way to transfer one to the other? or am I going to have to try to cancel my recurring membership with TRC.

    Im confused.

    Anyhow heres a picture of my Timewalker thats shortly going to be up for sale or trade:

  8. Ive altogether stopped buying reps. Im now buying and modding Seikos. They are cheap and fun. Most importantly theres no QC issues, no being squeezed by cartel pricing monopolies and nomore funding criminal syndicates.

    I look at some of the new reps that look like small cyborg planets or are the size of a babies head and dont feel the urge to rush out and buy them any longer let alone want to wear them

    So the only thing to do about the ever increasing prices of replica watches is dont buy them and see for the money what gens you could purchase.

  9. Any one live around that area or know of the gentle man that works in the store?

    I would be up for donating a little to get the guy a nicer watch so that next time CJD or what ever he is called can look and the old man can say your freinds say hello asswipe

    Id also a donate a decent Rolex rep to the chap. Could also be the storyline to a film starring Morgan Freeman, a lonely humble janitor ridiculed by his co workers for his choice of watch benefits from the kindness of strangers from a replica watch forum, its working titlle could be Repman.

  10. I've handled the MM600 SD. They are simply awsome! My buddy was a diehard Rolex guy. I emphisize "was" as he has sold both his gen Sub and SD (both Rolex) now that he's got a MM600. IMHO, the MM600 has better, more rugged, look/feel to it and it's craftmanship/quality is equal to Rolex, if not better. I was very very surprised by the MM600. I shouldn't have been since I've got an Orient Star 300M that I'd put against any Swiss brand any time of day in terms of quality and craftmanship. When you throw in the innovative movement in the MM I think it's a must have. It's certainly on my list.

    I'd love to see it rep'd.

    Thats good to know. I dont know whether I would trade or p/x my Rolex Sub for one, but I have considered it. I like the look of the watch and the sweeping second hand Spring Drive movement. I can also tell me girlfriend that I only have bought a Seiko and she wouldnt have any idea about the price :) I think it takes a real watch lover to pay some serious money for the design and the movement over an inferior high end brand.

    Im in the UK and I know a few Jewellers in the UK stock Spring Drive Seiko watches but haven't enquired yet as to what models they have in stock. Would really have to take a good look at the model in person first.

    What did you think of the bezel? Looks like a chainsaw blade in the pics I have seen :)

    Any chance you could take some pics of your buddies watch?!
