...and now they do replica casios!
Nice watch my friend, enjoy!
-
I too passed an Omega AD today and found it amusing all the cheaper Omegas were running and the expensive autos were all stopped.
I think that was exactly it. One was ticking and there was another that had stopped, i did wonder whether that may have been the case!

Daylight on a BOB calf deployment today for enjoying this good weather
Yeh its been a while since we've seen the sun here
Nice watch too!
-
Im happy this had a nice ending - i was standing in the shop thinking, bugger, thats a dead giveaway!
-
Omega SMP for me (Blue) just gonna get dads canon out for a few shots, then fiddy tonight for party!
-
Ah legend - you've put my mind at rest - i was gutted when i saw that at first. Now i know that a sweeps ok
Also noticed the OEM dial is a bit shinier, i.e. the light reflects off of the waves more. Also as everyone knows the HE valve is higher and i thought noticeably so.
Cheers by-tor!

Just had a look in an AD today and noticed the SMP they had in the window ticked as opposed to sweeping?!
Mine sweeps which im a bit dissapointed about now
Does anyones tick?
-
Thats good then

Click click clickety clack, my friend.
One-way bezels were introduced as a safety feature after it was found that the old two-way bezels on dive watches could be bashed, moved, and give bad timings during a dive. Now bezels have a one-way "click" and they fail "safe" when bumped... they read more bottom time or less air time than reality, depending how you're reading the watch.
Ah thats good news - mine clicks
Cheers buddy!

Hey all,
Does the Genuine SMP bezel click or is it smooth? Just wondered really for own satisfaction?
-
Ha, great post! Yeh the PAM bug bites everyone in the end
-
Nice watch, as seamasters are (I have a the gen smp pro blue), but I can't understand why someone would want a watch with markings depicting a person, especially a fictitional one
Kinda cheesy imho... It's like wearing a Mickey mouse watch sans fun.
Yeh i agree with this. I can see why some people like it but i would much prefer the base model, which consiquently i have!
Before i started to really learn about watches gen & rep i thought the 007 watch was a fake fantasy watch!
-
I was also about to ask where that straps from, its lovely!
-
Yeh i wish i'd known this before, however it should have been common sense really, all ok now though

I soaked my bracelet in 3-in-1 oil, really worked it into the bracelet and left overnight. Then cleaned it up with soap and a tootbrush, then it was silky smooth.
BTW - The PT SMP I got doesn't like its bracelet cleaning with anything abrasive (they might all be like this). I did it and took off the brushed finish! Looked pretty good but not like original. You can put it back but its a real bugger to do and takes a couple of hours. Learnt my lesson and won't be doing that again
I think all of the crowns are a bit wobbly so don't worry about it, with a bit of calibrating I've got mine down to +- 3 seconds a day so don't need to take out the crown that often
Ah ha that sounds like a plan i'll give that a go!!!

One day your gonna get very drunk and wonder why your 127 is stuck on the kitchen wall!
Looks ace though

Welcome....your one of many that moved over from RWG, including me

Buy both
No...sorry, on a serious note:
I had the 111 which i sold to my dad, then i bought the 127 with the proceeds. The 111 looks quite big anyway i think yet it is a lovely watch. The 127 looks VERY big, not sure on my wrist size but it looks big, see pic. Everyone at work says, whoah thats a big watch, but they all love it. I prefer now to wear my seamaster under my shirt, and not sticking out
So go for the 127 in my opinion but if your really unsure stick to the smaller 111 they're both gorgeous!
-
I think its ace - are the functions likely to work correctly?
Tom - not sure whether i prefer that or your last post about the new PO chronograph!
-
I'd be interested in this. I use photoshop quite a lot, or at least i used to...
I would like to get back into it so this would be really handy for me!
