  1. I took that strap from the same seller before a 3 weeks, it was as described and shown in the photos, i think the crown its not so good on the clasp as my daytona has but it was ok, I decided i like my daytona better on bracelet than strap. So i sold it the same price i took it...

  2. I have many watch makers near me that they seem to have no problem servicing reps, i had my 183G serviced before a month and had no problems.

I have received a pam 90 before one or two months from PT that the second hand didnt sweep properly it makes bid steps and sometimes look like the hand is moving too fast or stuck for a sec or two and then moves again.

Do you belive that a watch maker can fix this.

In order not to misunderstand PT gladly offered me to send the watch back to him but i was lazy and didnt send it to him and now i feel its not right to send it back so i will try to find a solution with my watchmaker, but before i try i would like to know your expert opinion in that.

    Thank you

  3. Wow thats a massive bet!

What happens if he does actually own a gen Daytona, and is one of those people that wears a rep of his watch in order to save wear and tear on the gen! All he needs to do is show up with his gen, then hes 3,000 euros better off! Uh oh :(

    Jon

I allready told him no daytona has engraved back and he said that his is a gen so he must come up with this watch or not at all, i he shows up with a gen without the enrgaved back its the same as admitting his loss.

The only thing he can do is If he has a gen daytona is to get out the rep case back and put it in the Gen daytona..

  4. Hi i was yesterday to a friends house and a guy (actualy a known actor here in greece) was wearing a daytona, i commented about his watch and asked to see it and offerd him my Pam 112h. He gave me his watch saying he is no watch enthousiast and didnt knew the brand i was wearing :), anyway the daytona looked good, but when i turned it to see the back i saw the coomon rep mistake an egraved back with winner text and other things... I told him were he bought the watch and he told me from a jewellery store in his town, i said to him but this is a rep and he immediatly said no way. this is an 100% gen daytona. :Jumpy: i hate when people do that and i went crazy i told him that i was ready to put a bet at any amount that this is a rep, to cut the long story short we have tommorow an rv at the ROLEX AD to verify the watch and the bet is set for 3.000 euros. I believe that this guy wont show up ..

As i know only the seadweller has engraved back..

    comments ??

  5. I have talked here in RWG to some people living in greece (Greeks or not). I was thinking to build a small community for rep watches in greek language in order to educate some people in greece, I see bad quality reps everywere in greece and i was thinking of creating a small greek community in a site under the .gr namespace. This site will forward the english speaking people to the RWG forum but as you know some people would love to see a greek site in greek language so i believe this would be embraced by many people in greece and i would love to have onboard any one (Greek language is a must :p ) willing to help this effort. So you Greek speaking guys in this forum that you know the rep market better than any other outside RWG please PM me or post a reply.

I will take care all the tech stuff and money to start.

@mods-- if you belive that this is not a genuine effort to help others (Greeks) and my intentions are not ethical.. delete this post.

    Thank you.

  6. I can't believe that you paid $2,400 for a watch from a guy with 0 feedback, that's the first no-no

Besides that, $2400 for a genuine 183??!! Someone's gonna take a huge bath and for some strange reason, I don't think it's going to be THE ZERO FEEDBACK SELLER :bangin::bangin::bangin:

I didnt, i won the auction but before i reach the pp button i must have solid believe that this guy is going to send a watch, also a trip to UK from were i live via easyjet costs 250$ round trip so i had no problem to pick it up myself.. So i contacted the seller as i wrote in my earlier post and got no relpy...

and today i took this email

So ebay knocked out that guy and sent me this email ... probably he didnt even pay ebay for the listing.. :p

So this is the end of another to good to be true story..

  7. Tommy, you are in my mind every day after you PMed me about the loss you suffered. Iam very glad to see that you are standing in your legs now and you start feeling better. If watches help you feel better then go ahead but you must do what brings you more joy, "forget" every one here because everyone will understand and if someone is not [censored] him cause as said a million times health and family are above everything.

  8. I tried Longhorn last summer, and it was pretty cool, but they didn't have the 3D windows yet. Not sure if they are in the beta 2

Not every were but the have some very nice effects, they need at least 128mb vga and 512 mb ram ... they eat resources fast..

  9. The funny thing is that he doesn't have any descriptions. I would suspect the pictures are stolen from somewhere else.

    my 2 cents.

Yes i believe the same too, I believe that iam an experienced buyer and seller in ebay so i used my normal userid to bid for the item and another one as i explained in order to win so the kegraone id listed among the bidders is my normal id but not the winning i did that in order to find out if the seller is trying to catch some of the bidders that have been outbid by ilegit second chance offers or second chance offer via ebay.

And before 2 hours i got an email, to my normal account the one that has been outbid a mail from another seller with strong feedback saying that the item belongs to him and to contact him for futher details. I have received no email from the "real" seller to the account i used to win this item...

Emal quote --- this sent via the ebay messaging system from member endofthetrail79d7( 125)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

i replied to both: the email and the seller from the ebay system

so we might have the same person or even 3 persons involved..

The original seller he listed the pam on ebay lmarkleyy (0)

The guy that contacted me via endofthetrail79d7( 125)

    and the real endofthetrail79d7( 125)

and all this not to the winning bidder :Jumpy::Jumpy::Jumpy::Jumpy::Jumpy:

A Scammer trying to take advantage another scammers auction he leaves the winning bidder to the initial scammer and tries to get some money from the rest ones!!!

    I like this

  10. Errr.. wasnt the time to play 'what if' over this deal BEFORE you placed a bid?

I will explain my strategy, the seller has no feedback so can be a scammer very easily, So i thought to bid win this item and after that to see what happen, i have absolutely no problem to get a negative feedback in this account, I am prepeared to pay the money if i reiceive a genuine article. So i have considered the whatt if and i decided to win it but if something goes wrong not pay it. If he is a honest seller he will get his money and a glorious feedback. So i am a honest buyer i have the money, Iam willing to pay , but he must give me some kind of gurantee that i will receive the genuine article. We are talking about a Genuine watch (photos & Description) so the transaction is legit and i can request for any assurance as long as i can cover the cost of this assurance. We are not talking about 300 bucks for a rep.
