Not sure if the 196 has the incorrect spelling.... it's the 250/251 that does for sure.
The case was stated to be a 3rd version, with no relation to the earlier models.
I was able to compare my CN 111h with a friend's Swiss, both latest versions from EL.
They are quite similar, although the CN version has a darker dial, crooked hands, and lume only on the hands. From the back, the CN movement had rougher finishing and wasn't as shiny and clean as the Swiss.
I received a few pm's over where to purchase the tropic 21. I bought mine from: motorhead52@comcast.net for $35 shipped. He seems to be a reputable RLX dealer from Timezone, and I had no trouble paying via pp and receiving it quickly. He's located in the USA.
Beautiful watch. Subdial spacing looks fine to me, although slightly wide. The one flaw I notice on all Rlx reps is the metal crown on the dial is always too flat... and not rounded like genuine.
I've handled both in person, and was quite embarrased how incorrect the (my) rep was side by side.
Weight is noticeably off, font on the front too thin, poor lume, weak date mag, caseback markings incorrect.
Looks great though on the wrist, just don't take it off
