For an italian seller this watch is IMPOSSIBLE because italian douane stops 90% packages from Asia and 50% from Usa.
Dollars adieu, watch adieu !!
Why in the forum is not possible to organize a method for import watches from asia to GB and from GB to other nations that have bad bad douane ?
Precioustime and Eurotimez hve this faculty, but only for standard asian reps, not for specials or artisanal
To day Davidsen do not ship watches in Italy, and also to buy from a seller US based, as BK is a very great risk.
I bought from Davidsen the ultimate fiddy, to be sent to Italy... left asia the 12 april, from that moment one untrackable, will keep my fingers crossed

I'd been in an AD yesterday and tried few Grahms, well I was more impressed to look at them in the window then feeling them on my wrist.. not as heavy as I expected, and the lever looked odd... nevertheless I'm still considering to buy one cause the pics on josh site are tantalizing... but now I'ver a better idea.. i'll wait u to buy one then will check if u'll regret ur money or not keep us updated

37.2mm is the size you'll need, I believe. I don't think Cousins has any domed sapphire crystals, though.
it seems them hv but not the darn right size!!!

Hi,
I'll be in Florence next week
I noted many members wear on them Panerai leather straps made in Florence... someone can point me out some store I may visit to buy some good quality strap for my pannys?
thx

hey guys,
I'm a total Panerai noob.
But i like the 253 flyback and maybe wanna buy one.
but when i compare this one (and its supposedly the latest, best version): http://www.jpc8118.com/pn25301-regetta-fly...800-p-2193.html
....to the original one:
http://blowers-jewellers.co.uk/images2/wat...ack_regatta.htm
...then i see that the numbers are off (way too big and too skinny).
is this as good as it gets for the time being?
another question would be:
how accurate is this one (the 212): http://www.jpc8118.com/00000pn21201-1950-f...bph-p-4985.html
if the 212 is perfectly accurate, i would take the 212......i keep looking at the 253 numbers and to me they just scream "replica".
any advice?
EDIT: just found a site (possibly scam, but still) that seems to have 253 reps with more accurate looking numbers (smaller and thicker): http://www.replica-time.com/panerai-lumino...e6e594639b6dc70
thanks,
simon
Hope some expert will reply.. I'm interested in the answer as well

Dont worry.. I bealive in Italy there r as many replica "factoryes" as in China... and u can see at any corner brand articles (expecially clothes and accessories fashion) to be sold in the streets
Just my 2 cents, if u dont want to be spotted dont wear a Rolex, at least in rome it seems to me any 10 person 2 wears an original one (not to count the ones with a rep).. if I was u i was wearing a Pam.. more rare to be see sofor harder to be spotted
Hv a good stay in italy, and if u happen to visit rome dont miss Galleria Borghese Museum (u hv to reserve a visit throught them website) which is absolutely unmissable (filled by marvellous bernini masterpieces)
Hi guys,I am going to Italy on Thursday morning a thought occured to me; They are quite tight in Italy on the laws on copies. Browsing some articles I saw that fines have been given to tourists in the amounts 3.500 EUR to 10.000 EUR.
I can understand they can grab a guy with a poor rep, since its easily spotted. But with the kind of rep we buy here, do you still think its a chance for me to get caught? Should I leave me reps at home. Any advice is appriciated guys.
Cheers
Luc

i've been looking around some of the trusted dealers for quite some time but was not too sure who sold the best pam regatta model. Some posts say they have the ultimate version but indicate just mineral crystal with super AR.
anyone who could point me to the right dealer that gives a pretty good 253 regatta rep with sapphire crystal and AR?
the collectors in this forum sell all the same watch (hig end replica coma all out from the same factories, only costumer care and qc may vary from one collector to another... forum is here to make u build ur own opinion about who to trust better, just read the review, I found myself always fine with Josh, now buyng from Eurotimez ((Chris)) and will review him as soon as I've the watches) , u can make it relumed by The Zigmeister and ar by chieftang and u'll hv a perfect (or as close to perfect as a watch who cost thousands and u payed less then 1k) can be
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK TO THE EXPERT A THING:
WHO SELL A PANERAI WITH THE CORRECT ENGRAVING LOGOS ON THE CASEBACK MECHANISM BRIDGE?
thx in advance

Most of the reps I know are both Chinese and complicate my finances in a pretty grand way..
i c ur point the sea-gull quater repeater at 21k complicate my finances as well, just waiting such drilly feathuers to be costy as the affordable tourbillon (500 usd..)

Speaking of Homer's tourby's: I have to say that those are really amazing pieces for the five hundred dollar price point they are hitting. Phoband had his at our last South Florida GTG and I will go out on a limb and say it is the finest fit and finished (not to mention the bonus of being a cool to look at tourby movement) watch for half a grand I have ever seen. He had a really nice thick spined sport/dress croc on it that just completed it perfectly. At that price, reliabilty wouldn't really concern me, plus parts supply should be plentiful or for that matter, one could just buy a spare movement - if it was important to have a touby in the collection that is. Personally, I'm not really into them myself although they are cool. I'm more into PC's, chronos, and repeaters as far as complicated watches go myself.
since u r into repeaters maybe u hv more info then i do
I'd been reading sea-gull presented last year a repeater mechanism in basel (so they should produce "perpetual calendar" "tourbillon" and repeater... pretty many complications...) but browsing them site i didnt found nothingh about repeater watch
I'm into repeater as well (in fact i bought a bulova millennia... I know is quartz... sorry) any rumors about chinese mechanical repeater mechanism coming out any soon?

Ciao Domenico,
fra le modifiche che esegui fai anche il relumen delle lancette/quandrante? Puoi trattare i cristalli per l'antiriflesso?
grazie

Christiaan van der Klaauw is a famous watchmaker... if i didnt geti it wrong his movements are modified ETA 2824-2 and for a way much cheaper price him is able to make watch as planetarium, look them out...
