I have no idea what a hotprinter is or how successful it would be in printing the DWs.
All of the DWs I have had to date from Finepics and Lello were from professional printers.
Nevertheless good luck with your endevour, if you can get it to work then there will be a lot of fellow modders following in your wake !

Anton, where are you getting the date overlays from for the VCO and Naultilus, I have both waiting for the same mods
-
Ubi,
Excellent, thanks for the clarification

Does anyone know whether the Gen PP Nautilus has AR (single or double) ?
-
Dadog,
Can you PM me his site URL as well, I used to have it when he first created it but at that time he only had about 5 watches on it so it would be nice to see what he has available these days.
Thanks,
Nelly.

Well I finally received the delivery from Panatime this morning. I ordered a leather watch travel case, two straps and some Panerai strap accessories. It all arrived complete, all parts are in excellent condition, it was shipped in a well wrapped box with no chance of anything getting damaged or lost.
All in all a most satisfying experience, at least from this engagement they get a big thumbs up

Well from all the other postings it certainly sounds positive, I'll post up a review when I receive the shipment.

As I needed a watch travel case and some strap tubes and the fact that they were giving an introductory discount to us RWGers, I went ahead and placed an order online. So far the experience has been a very, very good one. They responded immediately and the goods were shipped next day with an email giving the shipping details and more surprisingly actual photos of the items themselves. As they say so far so good.....

Thanks !

itseme,
Nice strap, where did you get the deployant buckle from ?
-
Rob,
Now that is something I have never come across before despite having had both manual wind and automatic watches for over 20 years....
Thanks for the info, I will be treating my automatics with much greater care from now on !
-
Chief,
Add me in for 1 as well.
Thanks,
Nelly.

Does anyone know if you can swap the rotor from the 28k Asian 7750 onto the 21k Asian 7750 ?

Nicely designed room and a good taste in movies too, Bladerunner, possibly the best Sci-Fi movie ever made....

The Zigmeister,
80k PER year as you state should be fine. I have some friends that live in Paris so I'll drop them a note and ask if they know the going rates for 1-2 bed apartments in the 17th arrondisement area.
BTW, Having you move over to Paris would be one step to making 2008 a SUPER year as I live just across the channel...

So you got yourself a pave dial gen then Reg....Not my taste but still beautifully made.
-
I also heard that the gen of this version does not exist... according to an IWC freak I know...
If you go to the IWC website it is displayed as a current model.....

Yup, I bought mine for the Tag link Chrono too, I got the 1st gen version a while ago that had the crazy font on the single digit dates.
-
I believe The Zigmeister has replied before that they are a direct replacement. I sincerely hope they are because I purchased 3 for specifically the same reason.
-
AJ, put me down for two.

You state that the swan neck in most watches is purely decorative, I assume that you are referring to some of the cheaper reps. Swan neck regulators have been used for many years and are found in some very high end in-house movements made by Lange & Sohne and Glashutte Original (to name just two
-
Yes it is a gen (Blowers is a highly reputable used watch dealer in the UK). The hands are the same as on the rep, silver, but at virtually all angles they show up as black when photographed.

@Baron - The BCE is 1st generation single AR / black hands / best version white dial (IMO) - From Andrew @ trustytime
I have the same one which was actually advertised as 2nd gen, the white dial is more silvery in colour with green lume hands. I was told this didn't exist in real life until I found this picture on Blowers site

So what is the difference between the 2893-2 and the 2836 in it's GMT guise?
Does the GMT hand behave differently between the two movements ? I have read vague comments about the 2893-2 movement jumping the GMT hand in hour increments when setting or when running but could never find anything definitive.
Come on you WIS.....
