Actually i´m not talking about flaws at all, i´m just talking about broken watches, doa watches etc.
We all know that a rep is a rep. But a rep is a still a watch that should do it´s only job -> showing the time.
(Ok, that was a bit overdone, but that´s what watches are all about per definition ;-))

My beloved Sinn 903:
Too bad i´ve sold it already...
-
Holy crap...
that´s one of the thickest straps i´ve ever seen in my whole life!
In fact, even thicker than most of my belts

Lesson 1:
One single person can´t be in one room together.
:D

My guess is that it is assembled in Asia. It is probably as German as my Swissmatic is Swiss!
No chance, Archimede is one of the most respected watch companies in germany. You cant compare that to aeromatic 1912, tauchmeister etc.
The watches are assembled in germany. Archimede even have their very own cases (made in germany as well).

My money. My computer. My finger. Click.
Could soon be:
Her money. Her computer. Her finger.... well not quite

Don´t stone me to death now ppl, but dealers should replace the watch.
Period.
Mean, look at their profits on these reps. They´re much higher than those of regular (gen) watch dealers/shops.
Dealers do have (or should i say, should have?) a direct connection to the rep factories, they are the link between the customer and the maker (pretty much like in the 'real world'). So, i dont wanna dream of warranty etc., but replacing a broken watch should be their hightes priority (customer care -> returning customers).
Illegal goods or not. The principle is just the same.

Oh no...
Just fell in love with the 086
Too bad that there´s only a cheap asian movt. in the rep...
-
For what i know, these watches are entirely assembled in germany...
Don´t know why he does´nt put "made in...." on the dial. Maybe it´s just not that important to him

The Archimede watches are - without any doubt - one of the best watches money can get (at this price). Just check out the Archimede Pilot which is surely the most common Archimede watch.
And, btw, they´re entirely made in Germany!
Mr. Ickler is one of the most respected case manufacturer in Europe.

Cmon, a full gold sport model doesnt make any sense at all.
Should be a tool watch.

Would be a great update. The 28.800 bph screaming >FAKE< pretty loud...
Love the ticks of my 1603 with 1575 movement - one of rolex´ best movements ever made.
-
1,000.000 % agree on that

Did i just read the magic C word again?

Got a very nice 192 from Bricky last year (and just fell in love with it again ), prob is that the venus copy (lemania, sea gull etc.) movement seems to be broken...
Guess it´s a stem issue, but don´t know for sure. Actually i need the movement for spare parts.
So, maybe anyone knows where to get one for a reasonable price?
Saw one for over 100,- bucks lately - but that seems way to much for a chinese movement imho.
Any help would be highly appreciated

yah... even the pin is lumed....
now thats pretty cool

I´d definitely wait for the next crazy sale
-
You nearly can buy a gen case, dial, 7750 and hands for that amount of money...
Nah, way too much.

I have just received an order from Paul today and have an order on the way from Andrew. I can definitely say they are NOT the same people. Packaging and shipping cities are different as are the products they carry. Paul may be just be lazy or uses the same factory and didn't have stock to take his own pics. JMO.
Please do say that this is not serious

Man Ken, you got a pretty pale skin tone for a down under man
-
I´ve already jumped out... no way to get it into this area.
-
Gen for me today:
-
If he deep links to your pictures, surely it'd be simpler to replace them all with JPEGs that state how Paul is a [censored]-gobbler or similar.
LOL now thats an idea
