It looks big from that angle because of its 5/8" thickness and macro setting on my camera. But as far as diameter goes, it's not ridiculously big. It has good coverage on my 7" wrist without being too overwhelming or looking like a manhole cover. Here's another pic. Sorry it's blurry
Got mine today. I immediately changed the strap to a 5mm thick brown/green strap. Here's the U-Boat with new strap.
In case image doesn't show up
It looks really stealth and hefty. As far as the size goes, my wrist is 7" and I don't feel it's too big at all but this is the largest I'll go.
Very happy with the U-Boat.
Here's a video review posted by a dealer not well known on this site. Now I'm sold on the carbon fiber dial model. Although I love her accent (Hong Kong?) and her soothing voice with background music makes me feel like I was in a spa , I won't buy from her as dealers on this site have much better prices.

I love the way she says at the end "the biggest wrist watch I've seen"
Does the orange one have carbon dial? Looking from the pictures on dealer's sites I don't see the carbon dial for the orange version. I like the yellow one better but want a carbon dial also so I'm still on the fence.

PAM, I'm 99% sure that the pics posted in the OP are DSN's engraved dial. 6 and 9 are still off, and I won't even get started on the different fonts used for "Luminor" and "Panerai", 'cause it just doesn't make a lick of sense to me. However, I agree, the thickness of the engraving looks good.
Thank you for the heads up. DSN has just asked me if I would accept a notched case which I refuse. He stated that he would change to a new case if I wouldn't accept and send me new pics next week. . This issue has degraded his reputation fast but it seems he's aware of situation and trying to rectify. Lucky me for being indecisive, otherwise I would have been one of his growing group of unhappy clients.
He just sent me pics of watch that I will receive supposedly. Please tell me how accurate it is. Is there anything obvious that a person with moderate knowledge of Panerais can spot quickly that it's rep? Last pic is a preA 009 Gen for reference. Thank you in advance for your help.

Although there have been complaints about DSN's QC issues recently. the majority opinion seems to be that his reps are best out of the box compared to other dealers. If you don't believe DSN's PVD 009 is good, please recommend me another dealer.
Here're pics of PAM 009 PVD from DSN' site. What do you guys think?
Hello, I'm a newbie looking to buy my first PAM rep. I'm interested in DSN PAM PVD 009 and he quotes me $340 for Asian movement. Is the price right? Although I'm aware that his reps are better quality, the price seems a little high to me compared to other dealers'. Thanks.
My first post here. Been lurking for a while. The Graham Chronofighther is my first replica bought because of feedback from this forum. And yes, I have a problem with the chrono. The timer hand won't reset back to 12'o clock position when top pusher is pressed. It's reset back to around 9'o clock position.
Is there anyway to fix this myself? Although the dealer has agreed to let me send it back to fix, I hate to wait anxioulsy for at least 2-3 weeks for the watch to arrive. Thanks in advance.
