  1. Thanks guys for the compliment...

Yes, it's a gen...Well, I mean, the CG...Wish I could afford the gen. although I did spend a boat load of money on this one...

    Spec:

    - EL or early DSN case (Not sure myself, maybe the experts here can enlighten me)... :pardon:

    - Lug holes drilled for the 2 screws lug bars

    - EL case back

    - Gen CG

    - 1st gen. palp crown

    - Vintage lumed FGD dial clear coated

    - Vintage lumed FGD pre-V hand set

    - Serviced Swiss 6497 movement

    - All assembly, service & lume work were performed by the Zigmeister

A special thanks to FGD and the Zigmeister for the parts and the excellent workmanship...

  2. This one just came in a couple of days ago...I had the grey dial Seawolf before buy it wasn't doing much for me...So it had gone to another good home...

Never thought I would like a yellow dial Breitling...Well, technically, I didn't with the bracelet on...But, after I put on the black diver pro rubber, it started to grow on me...The strap in fact provides the contrast that brought out the beauty of the yellow dial IMO...Your thoughts...?

Here are a few quick pics:

  3. I have a rubber clad ROO...Love the watch but don't like the deployant clasp that came with the watch...Plan to replace it with an 18mm tang buckle...

The AP Band sells a pretty good one but is rather pricy...There are a few 18mm buckle I found but they are too flimsy for the bulky ROO...

Any other sources that sell a more substantial 18mm buckle that fit the character of the ROO...? The one churito has looks very good...Is it available on the net...?

  4. Just acquired this RC from a great member here...Could not be happier with the piece...Movement runs like a charm...Keeps perfect time and the chrono works and reset as it should be...There is also bonus double AR on the crystal that makes the crystal disappear and showing off the beautifully contrast dial...

Lume is the weak link for this watch...Gotta book an appointment with the Zigmeister for the lume work and maybe a full tear down service...

  5. Thinking to upgrade my 201/A CB to the new Jakob CB...Looking over the new version of 201/A case back from Jakob and comparing it to my old school EL case back...I would like to think that the new CB is a little better than the old but is still far from being close to gen...Unless, there is another version of gen CB than the one pic I found...

Here is my old EL CB on my 201/A...

Come across this one a couple of weeks ago and figured that this is the one I wanted afterall...THE SEIKO LANDMONSTER...In the same Monster family but just a little different...
