Sensational looking watch, mate. Real nice.
-
Fukn ridiculous.
Pete.... hahahaha Please tell me you dug that info up somewhere and didn't actually count them one by one.

Amazing. Most impressive, bruv.

Great collection. Love the 6152-1.
-
Stellar work.
Are you taking orders? What is the expected delivery date?
-
Thanks mate.
Had a quick look and DW still looks off to me on this one.

If you can swing this, I would be in.

This forum started it all for me and after many hours of reading and multiple projects and purchases some time last year I have finally purchased my rep grail - a modded Davidson Fiddy.
About the same time I have also purchased a homage 47mm Rad with phantom dial.
In addition, about the same time I have finally satisfied my obsession with straps, having purchased some spectacular leather from Red12, Simona, GeF, Rob the Strapsmith, Mikah, Gunny, Kostas and HKTan.
To summarize - I was all set.
Both watches have been and are excellent and I did not have the need to look for something else. All straps were in regular rotation and still are.
I am ashamed to admit but since then I have lost touch with this forum.
I have just logged on for the first time in a long while and as usual my first place to visit is the Pam area. Straight away I am noticing a Pre-V case in the works and T doing his thing with the crowns.
I am a little short on time these days and instead of reading for hours what else might be happening, I thought I would ask you guys to fill me in. Any developments, game changers, dealer releases that I simply need to know about? Anything exciting in the 47mm Rad and Luminor space? Please share.
Really appreciate your time and assistance.
Thanks fellas.

Sapphire is available I believe, only the large 47mm cases dont get it
There was no sapphire option for either of the watches I ordered - 45 and 47mm Rads.
I have specifically asked Tat if he can source sapphire xtals for these and he said that he might be able to start providing these in the new year.
-
Just got a few custom pieces from Tat - a phantom cali dial in 47mm Rad case and phantom 45mm in PVD Rad case.
The 45mm Rad was DOA and was sent back to Tat who promised to repair or replace it.
The finish of both watches is pretty good for the price and the strap is quite nice also. All in all, pretty happy with the quality of these watches. These cannot be compared to DSN pieces but you get what you pay for.
If only there was an option for a sapphire crystal...

Interesting topic.
Since getting into the watch scene I have definitely started to pay attention to what others around me have on their wrists.
Would I be able to tell a rep from looking at someone's watch? Definitely not but then again, that is not my intention.
I look at other watches just like I look at other cars on the road - some I like and admire, others I see and don't even register, some I completely dislike.
At times I catch myself paying too much attention to a person's watch (particularly during office meetings) and force myself not no look in a certain direction

lol
well the best out of the box fiddy is probably from DSN... around $450.
Just got a DSN Fiddy and it is the nicest watch I own. Absolutely beautiful.

Hmmm, sent him an email a few minutes ago NOT related to AR, and got what looks to be an auto generated email response about the AR Run Delay.... Strange.
I think he must be out and about.
Got the same auto-reply message a few days ago and nothing since. Might try again next week.

Gents, thanks for all your help. I have just purchased a modded DSN piece on RG . Will post pics when I get the watch.
Now need to find a perfect strap - been looking all over and have a few ideas. This will be one sweet combo.

Unbelievable scenes here in Sydney yesterday. EVERYTHING in orange hue. Felt really eerie and the silence was deafening. I have never seen anything like it in my life and before getting out of the house checked the net to make sure it wasn't some sort of nuclear disaster
Had to be here to believe it.
Things started clearing up around 10am and by midday the visibility was ok.
Later on the news it was stated that dust particles that made up the dust storm have been blown from 2400km away and created an orange blanket 3km high. The figure that amazed me the most was that 75,000 tonnes of dust were settling over Sydney every hour
Here are some pics: photos

check the following link of my dsn mm20. I cannot judge about the quality of the ar as I do not own other hommages other than dsn. hopefully my pictures can solve your concerns.
Thanks for the link, mate. Looks good
-
You could make me an offer on mine as i am looking to trade it for a slevin or at least the price of a slevin with stainless steel band
Andy, pm sent.

MY dsn mm20 has got a blueish-violet AR. As far as I know gen pams dont have ARs at all. thats the reason why some members try yo remove it. But if you still want to add a nice AR finish to your watches I recommend you to our reputable member Chieftang. He will be able to help you.
Hi Peneristi.
Yes, I have been waiting for Chief's next run for a while - have a few crystals that need loving.
I was asking about DSN's AR in order to determine if this one will also have to be sent to Chief.
-
Thanks for your replies, gents.
Can anyone comment on the quality of AR on DSN pieces?
-
I too have been trying to remove the AR off the crystal. I have taken the crystal out and had a go with acetone with absolutely no results. I then tried glass cooktop cleaner, which did take the AR off in places. I have been trying to get rid of the remaining AR with no luck.
Not sure what to try next.... Any suggestions?

Thanks for the comments.
What if I would be prepared to spend the money for Josh's ultimate 127 ($378) + a few hundred on mods? Would the outcome be a better 127 that DSN's ultimate?
Pam crown guard screw help
in Watch Repair & Upgrade
Posted
Hey guys,
I have lost a CG screw on the PAM243.
Dimensions are:
Length: 4mm
Head diameter - 2.07mm
Body diameter - 1.44mm
I have already tried Military Time and all the screws that I purchased were too big... I am puzzled as to where to locate the required screw.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you.
