Hi,
I want to upgrade my account again, but can't pay by Paypal and just wondering if you have another method?
-
Does anyone know where I could get a genuine or aftermarket Rolex Engine Turned Bezel, preferrably in the UK/EU, but will consider other places?
-
Having been a dealer in bothe Genuine and Reps, I say that you find good and bad everywhere. I have had problems on RepGeek which was not really my fault, but I have found here and TRF are fine. You can't label everyone with the same brush. I love watches, both genuine and rep, so i like to look in on all the forums where possible. However, I do find the rep forums more interesting as reps are much more affordable, and the way some people have built Franken Watches amazing!

Thanks, I'll look into this further.
-
Thanks, I might look at buying a Fraken datejust and then just make a few mods myself. I really don't have the skills required to build my own.
-
I also have a gen engine turn bezel and a gen crystal. If that helps.
How much?

Thanks for your replies, I thought this was a 16030, as I had copied it from a google search! I thought i might find this watch a bit hard to get hold of, and you can get a genuine secondhand one for about £1,800, however I'd like to try and build my own.
This is what i am looking for:

Sorry, but I am pretty sure this is a 16030, I got this picture from Ebay. I think building a Franken DJ would be a fun project, mixing genuine and rep parts. However, I have found it hard trying to find this bezel.

Nice, I'll see what he can do, does he have a website?

Thanks mate, will have a look!

Well when you get to over forty you start to look at ways of keeping yourself looking as young as possible! I therefore went to our local 'Boots' store and looked at L'Oreal's Men Expert range, which seemed very good, but very confusing!
What I want after was a moisterizer, something to reduce wrinkles and remove the bags/dark lines under my eyes (I know, not enough sleep!). However, they seem to do all sorts of mixtures of one or the other, then a mixture of both, and to be honest I didn't know what ones to buy! Any advice, ideas???

It just means women are attracted to Rolexes! So guys, want help pulling a good looking women? Wear a Rolex!!!

Maybe, its just that I'm not great with a camera!!!

Well, he always answers mine! Anyway, its up to each member to decide who they want to deal with, until anyone actually buys from him and does a review, no one will know! I just don't like people making accusations without facts! As I said, I might well buy from him and see how it goes. I have bought from TrustyTime had had very good watches, I have bought from Sead, and have had a mixed bag.
-
Yes, i understand your concerns, but this isn't George! I think this is the guy I bought from when he ran eureplicas.de, and his watches were good, but his is just my opinion.
-
Yes, that is correct. I have read on REG that this person is a conman, etc, etc, however no one has any evidence, bought a watch, they have no facts! I know a lot of people lost money due to George, but at least give this Eric guy the opportunity to prove himself. If he is a conman, he will soon get found out and word will spread, if not, then his business will grow, its really upto him.
-
I have spoken to eric on a few occasions via e-mail, and I must say he seems genuine. He bought a few watches from George about a year ago and bought them to find the same materials to build similar watches. He said he use to run another website, eureplicas.de, which I do remember!
Anyway, I think he seems ok, I haven't bought a watch from him, but I am thinking about it.
-
Yes, might look at buying one of these watchmaker9.de watches and see what their like, at least you get the watch within 6-8 weeks unlike George, which could take months!!!
-
Yes, I bought a watch from Eric, he ran another website, but I did buy a WM9 Submariner from him, so maybe thats what happened. I can't remember the website he had though. I know he said he wasn't allowed to sell on the boards as this was the agreement he had with George, as George had told him BK had the approval on the forums. However, this was about a year ago.
-
I don't know what you mean by "goofball", but it was someone else.
A new dealer has taken over the watchmaker9.de website!!!
-
What do you mean TWP?
-
I certainly understnad why people are so annoyed at losing their money, however you do have to appreciate something, when you are dealing in reps, you always run the risk!
It does annoy me at times at how awkward some rep buyers are!!! They buy a rep, or look a picture of someone else's rep, and pull it a part, trying to find every minute flaw! I have had many reps over the years, and most people on the street caouldn't tell whether its genuine or fake, and these are watches that cost $200.00. The other thing is if you are buying counterfiet goods, you know you run the risk of losing your money, or you item.
Finally, I'll tell you what happened to someone I knew who was dealing, they got a call one morning from the Police, got all the computer equipment taken, paperwork, etc, and basically lost their business overnight. People thought they had been ripped off, but they hadn't. The dealer had no access to his computer has the Police kept it for nearly 6 months, retrieving all deleted e-mails, and dealings. When he did contact people, they thought, just like many here with WM9, that he'd ripped them off and was using this as an excuse, but it was a genuine situation.
