  1. TT, I'm worried! You suddenly facing jail time?!!
  2. Are we talking about Action Man or Kenberg?
  3. I have the "value" one for what it's worth - seems fine, it gets the pins out - perhaps not as elegantly as a better one, but effective.
  4. Two ways to go - an inexpensive link removal tool from Birdman (it looks fairly easy to resize this watch), or the guy at the mall. You found this pdf on resizing the Tag, yes? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?act=At...ost&id=1993 Be warned though - the mall people have buggered up more than a few bracelets in their time (one of mine included - although in fairness the PO can be a tough nut). Much happier now that I can just do it when a watch arrives.
  5. Cheers! On the lume front - it's no Orange Monster with those famous massive blobs of lume. But it is fun when fully charged, and it can certainly be read in the dark long after the average rep has faded away: (Sorry blurry shots, no tripod. But no trickery with them, just point and shoot with the camera with the watch still running. Only sharpened in PS to mitigate the blur). The T-Touch is interesting. The Jungle Master isn't a proper compass really, more of a boy scout trick - but it could come in handy in, well, the jungle. Or perhaps the desert. It's more of an arid dive watch! With the T-Touch, I wonder if the fingerprints would get annoying
  6. A couple of shots of my brand new daily beater - the Seiko Jungle Master: I wanted a waterproof daily beater and, frankly, some LumiBrite in my life. You want rehaut?! This baby has rehaut! And a rotating inner bezel compass thingy that doesn't work in the southern hemisphere - but I'm a sucker for gimmicks (and complications are gimmicks too, right?) I know I hadn't set the day date yet on this when I took the pics, but it's bilingual which is interesting. I'm very happy with it anyway
  7. Whoa! That has just taken that rep to a whole different place. The dome gives a completely different feel to it, much more vintage and classic. Love it!
  8. I know exactly what you're saying. I can be reading the forum, caught up looking at all the latest super reps or whatever and then once or twice I've glanced a PO on my desk and thought 'wow'! Just like looking at it for the first time. Such a great looking watch. Cheers!

"but now offers visual access to the technology of the movement" Ah, world class sales copy. Love it!
  12. Don't forget the GST when you import it. You will have to pay it.
  13. They look great. Fantastic straps too.
  14. A very special edition of The Shortest Thread for you today..... I was going through some my old photos and came across this from Kowloon, HK in 2002. In fact every lamp post, sign and billboard within 500m had graffiti from this guy. It is pretty much my favourite piece of lunatic graffiti ever. And now I present it to The Shortest Thread for insightful analysis and explanation....
  15. It's a tough one - especially since laptops are company income tax deductible, and personal fringe benefit tax free here in Oz. So a lot of them are overpriced because some other sucker is picking up the tab (like business class air tickets). Officeworks often have ones with manufacturer cash back offers that are as decent as anything else on offer. (See staticice.com.au for price comparisons). The benefit of the store is that you can go in and see them. Be aware of that some of them have mobile processors, some of them regular processors which use up more power and thus have a shorter battery life. It's possible to get one that will do all those things for less that AU$800 (using XP), the issue becomes longevity. You wouldn't want to use Photoshop on one of them say.
  16. The Afghan reps are only C+, but the gonorrhea's A+++
  17. I'm speechless; funny as hell. Enjoy those watches
  18. Perhaps all the best discussions are in the VIP area....
  19. Ordering your first reps is exciting! Still, I suspect what you have may be gonorrhea...
  20. DiNozzo in NCIS has graduated from a sub to an orange PO (Season 4).
