Hey, don't forget that the clocks change tonight for many of us.
And for some folk on the forum it can be a big job! In fact, some have only just finished resetting their watches from the last clock change!
Cheers!
(Oh crap, I just worked out that I lose an hour's sleep )
Strictly-speaking the watch is buried under the pile of paper, which means I have a $2 watch weight...
...but hang on, if I put the watch at the top of the pile....this might work!!
Ken's watch there is a beaut!
I have a faux chrono with the black face. Love that watch, but joined the Planet Ocean club for my birthday so that's getting most of the wrist time. The poor Lange is sadly neglected, but on my office desk all the same!
For a $45,000 saving I found I could live with the odd detail being off!
Any one watch in particular?
Generally the Lange reps could never sit side by side with the gens, because Lange's have unique movements (which also give them special price tags).
But, of course, the Lange reps are beautiful watches in their own right. I have one and love it.
Thanks for this report - it's a shame because this watch is stunning.
I think it says a lot for just how good this watch looks that we could read a report that the movement is made of cheese, and many of us would probably still consider it!
I'll second that. If you have the time (and it is a total pain to verify and "load") Moneybookers is a lot cheaper if you are tranferring from a bank account. Much cheaper than WU, and even Paypal sometimes (if you are paying in a foreign currency.)
One thing to watch though, if you load it from a credit card it is more expensive than Paypal I believe - I think it charges it as a cash withdrawal.
It's a real advert concept - as in the Jung von Matt agency in Hamburg did it - but I couldn't tell you if it ever actually went out into the big wide world.
Here something on a similar theme for Wempe watches and jewellery:
You didn't say that the chair was stretched leather!
Pam Anderson is a possibility too (pictured in costume):
And too bad if the ladies ever find out that this was the actual sized chair:
