  1. "Burn it!!" PS - nobody likes to see good porn die, make sure to back it up before deleting it :animal_rooster: More seriously, it is a problem if you're ever selling a PC, and so on. A simple google for "permanently delete files" should see you up and running I'd imagine.
  2. FORMAL NOTICE OF NEW FEES: (From April 2008) Please be advised that from April 2008 I will be applying a new 'storage' fee to my used watch sales in the member trade area. It has come to my attention that, for some time now, my watches have been effectively living 'rent free' in my home for the benefit of their ultimate purchasers. This is clearly unsustainable. So from April 2008 my sales will incorporate a $1 a day storage fee, to cover my costs in providing the watches shelter, furniture, heating and so on. The regular storage fee is for a place in my desk drawer - this is the view from inside with the drawer shut so you can see: PREMIUM STORAGE: Some watches have benefited from a beach view, which comes at an additional 0.89 cents per day premium to the standard storage fee. FOR SALE OR TRADE: 'Ziggy' Movement I have a 'ziggy' movement for sale on the forum. It is an Asian 21J that he was once kind enough to send me for free. To be clear - Ziggy himself once owned it, touched it and put it an envelope. The 'ziggyfied' envelope is not included in the sale. This exciting part of horological history can be yours for just $805.25. The breakdown on what I have put into this movement works like this: Movement cost (to me): FREE Cost of Ziggy's time in transferring it from the parts bin it into an envelope (to me): FREE My time having to wait for it to arrive via mail (1 week) and customs anxiety: $95 Taxi to the end of driveway to collect mail (had I not undertaken to walk the journey): $2.80 Full inspection upon arrival to verify correct addressee: $8 18 months storage @$1 per day (standard drawer storage): $547 Poking at it with a screwdriver with a furrowed and confused brow one evening: $75 Blowing dust and corn chips off it: $50 Paypal fees: $26.44 New envelope: $0.25 Postage stamp: $0.75 Ink to write your address: $0.01 I don't see any reason to take a loss on this one, so I'm going to ask for the full price. However I WILL ABSORB THE COSTS OF LICKING THE ENVELOPE. All customs risks to be taken on by purchaser. WANTED TO BUY Some patience from another forum member. No watch required, I'm just looking to buy 2 weeks of someone's time waiting for something to arrive. I'm hoping to mark it up and resell it, since my patience commands quite a premium amongst other members.
  3. Nice find. I think they've made a mistake though - the one they're selling is actually quartz not the automatic (even though that's what it says).
  4. The "Noobmariner" is the same as Narikaa's "Nymphomariner" or EuroTimez's, I believe. It's sourced from Thailand, not China.
  5. Great idea! Perhaps Chieftang and Jakub can start supplying Thin Red Line stickers for their crystals
  6. With that rusted steel, some of the rep makers should be in heaven!
  7. Sounds like another win for the ebay snipe king! Great work!
  8. Great review - thank you!! Another watch to test my resistance....should I pay the mortgage or buy another watch?
  9. Looking forward to seeing this one!
  10. Metal Oaf. P.S. The animal noises are very helpful in your recipe, aren't they? "Add a pound of moo..."
  11. Being an RWG thread on dogs, and since I reckon we'll run out of indignation on about page 3 of the thread, can I be please be the first to mention: - The existence of god - The rules on pitbull ownership in Norway - Islam - Queen Victoria - Hitler - It all being the cartel's fault
  12. How can you have coq au vin with no coq?
  13. I can't believe I missed this one!!! (I had a good excuse - honest!) PHENOMENAL review - thank you!! And congrats on getting such an amazing watch. If I had to pick a watch in a fire, okay five to eight watches in a fire, maybe twelve...I'm an addict!! Help! I love this watch - it's absolutely great. If the chronos worked, I'd be all over those too.
  14. I'm a big fan of mist and barrels. 'Mist Magazine' named me 'Dry Iceman' of the year in 1986 which is a huge accolade amongst the mist community. It was also the year 'Top Gun' came out, which made it doubly cool.
  15. Classic! It has me feeling all nostalgic now - I had that book (with different words ). I recall an ever-so-up-to-date RAF one as well - cravats and spitfires.
  16. Congrats on hitting the 1k!!
  17. Don't waste your time with free hosting when you are working with databases would be my suggestion. It will take you more time and cause you more frustration than a few dollars a month is worth. For a SSL certificate you'll need....a SSL certificate. Setting up your own merchant facilities sounds like overkill - using Paypal might be easier. Here's how to disable the SSL requirement if it's useful: http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=15
