I got a spam email selling this supposed rep for only $250. Normally I woul not even consider spam from an unknown seller, but I have never seen a 183 without the recessed pin problem. So, just curious if you pam experts can tell me if this is actually a pic of a genuine. Just curious...I do not plan to buy either way because I just got a beautiful 183 from joshua.

I would much rather use my cc than any other method. The ultimate security IMO is a cc. The cc company goes with the customer 99.9% of the time when a problem arises. I have had my cc number used fraudulently two times...no skin off my back...the cc company takes the debt off the account and issues a new cc number.

Silix is a trend setter with cc...I hope other dealers follow suit because paypal sucks balls.

I have not seen the watch you are referencing, but for only 75 pounds, I doubt it is the new 7750 model, which seems to be going for at least twice that amount. If it is the new 7750 model...jump on it (or tell me where I can find it at that price)

Well if Josh is preservicing the rolex eta's, I cant see why he wouldnt expand his service eventually to the 7750 models. I dont mind the cost of getting it serviced, but I absolutely dread the hassle of getting a watch I am all excited about and then having to ship it right out for servicing with the risks associated with shipping (i.e., lost in mail, dmaged in mail, or customs). I know the shipping risks are rare when just sending it out for servicing, but it is still a concern. Plus, when I get that new watch, I just love to wear it...not send it out.

@ by-tor - They are the best IMO (breit is to watches as neil pert is to drumming ). And it is nice to see that the factories are starting to produce new breitling models! Maybe the chronomat is next!!!

@cskent69 - I know the chrono avenger is not cheap...and it is one of my favorite models...but the whole "costco" thing just generally leaves a bad taste in my mouth, for any watch

Breitlings are my favorite reps by far. Nothing like them in my opinion. And I think the chrono avenger is a better looking rep than the seawolf, although the seawolf aint to shabby.

(I am actually saddened that they are being sold at costco!! Say it aint so...)

I don't post much, but I do read a lot. Got a one watch from Andrew (great guy) held up by customs. I provided them an invoice for polishing. Now they are asking me for proof of ownership and proof of export. What do you guys send them if your watch gets held up? I understand that some members got taxed by customs for their watches. They probably have to have some ground for the tax. Do you provide them a fake receipt, paypal records, ... Or do they come up with the taxing fee themselves? I'm from EU - Slovenia

I have used the search button, only didn't find the answers. Sorry if this has already been posted.

You may want to inquire with Andrew and see what he reccomends. I would imagine he has dealt with the issue before. Good luck.
