  1. Im sorry folks but elliot crossed a line that simply should not be crossed in this little hobby of ours. Simply put, sending out fake legal notices regarding copyright infringement to our members is something that is and always will be unforgiveable.

Comparing nais to elliot is apples and oranges. Nais was just an [censored]. And comparing Paul to elliot is eqully misguided. Paul took on way to many orders in a crasy sale than he could not meet and took a long ass time to deliver (my understanding is that he ended up making good with everyone). Again, apples and oranges.

elliot, however, sends fake, threatening legal notices to a group of people involved in a very illegal game. Pathetic. A line that should never be crossed in this business. Forgive all you want...I hope he goes away and stays away.

And the fact that he is now USING the people he really despises as an end to a means now that he sees the $$ in the rep game is equally pathetic.

  2. I want to get my wife an mp3 player for mothers day, but have no clue about them. I see ones with memory of 512mb, 1gb, and so on...

The 512 mb ones are tiny, which is what she will want for her intended use at the gym and stuff, so does anyone know if 512mb is big enought to hold about 50 songs.

    thanks

  3. When I was seventeen, it was a very good year

It was a very good year for small town girls

    And soft summer nights

    We'd hide from the lights

    On the village green

    When I was seventeen

When I was twenty-one, it was a very good year

It was a very good year for city girls

    Who lived up the stairs

    With perfumed hair

    That came undone

    When I was twenty-one

When I was thirty-five, it was a very good year

It was a very good year for blue-blooded girls

    Of independent means

    We'd ride in limousines

    Their chauffeurs would drive

    When I was thirty-five

But now the days are short, I'm in the autumn of my years

And I think of my life as vintage wine

    From fine old kegs

From the brim to the dregs

    It poured sweet and clear

It was a very good year

  4. Anyone know if the breitling navitimer is being offered anywhere with the new asian 7750?

My research has revealed that the the new asian 7750 appears in the rolex daytonas with seconds at 6, the new IWC chronos, and in the new Tag chronos. But if you are aware of it appearing elsewhere, especially in the navitimer, please let me know.

  5. Another closed thread because it didnt stay 100% on topic? Sigh. Please, Neil can fend for himself...and it's usually entertaining. (though he has utterly failed to bring out his A-game thus far)

(war and peace :) interesting concept)

  6. boring. surely you can do better than that.

@Watcher......you misread his post....it was my e-mail he wanted not yours.....!

BTW....Watcher 71.....is that your nom de plume and IQ level.....or is it the distance between your earlugs.....?

  7. Sad, but humorous. Reminds me of a situation involving a buddy of mine who got divorced several years ago. Get this, his wife left him for the fertility doctor that they were seeing! Now that would really [censored] me off.

The marriage counselor story is not as bad to me because obviously the couple was having serious problems to begin with.

  8. we need those taxes in order to pay for pensions and enviroment... at least WE dont mess up the whole enviroment and say "F*CK it, as long as gas' cheap, i dont f*ckin care if polar bears die and the ice melts because of global warming!!"
huh? Yeah, if you want to fund the retirement of others...have fun with it. And you really think your taxes are going towards curing that falacy known as big bad "global warming"...please. Wanna buy a bridge?

but ever since katrina hit the US, ppl started to believe that global warming is their biggest threat... even before terrorism!

    again, HUH?

Are you kidding me? you beleive this stuff or just type it? Yeah, anyway, really BIG hurricanes were kicking our ass 100 years ago. Golbal warming huh? Interesting. Anyhoo, if ya goota gripe with this mysterious, elusive warming of the globe, then take it up with the third world nations and all the crap they are putting into the air... But then again, I guess it is easier (and FUNNER) to say it is the big bad US of A that is "warming" our little globe.

Okay then...I am off to protect myself from "global warming" because "global warming" apparently opened up another extrmeist terrorist camp where all of the "global warmers" are learning how to blow people up and make the rest of the world bow before the peaceful prophet mohamed. Yeah... nice try slay

    so long :D
