  1. I am in knightsbridge, could possibly give you a small tour of a certain large fine watch room in a famous store in London. I may be free to have a quick meet. Please bear in mind that i LOVE girls ( just in case i misinterpreted your gtg message)
  2. Its nearing Eid, so my thoughts will be with you too. I shall donate to charity thinking of your situation and send your prayers whilst helping the poorest people in the world.
  3. Damn, thats unlucky, I had that problem once, ignore the letter if they open the package and take this one on the chin. The seller should resend one if they are a good dealer. If you respond then consider your rep collecting days, (through the post) limited. They will note your address if they open the package to see a rep, If they haven't opened it then your fine.Just send the money to them.
  4. [My Dsn 177 steamed after a couple of trips to the pool, not the same watch anymore, reliability has gone out the window. Like watching a deteriorating patient. Don't bother. Please
  5. I understand both of the above arguments, I think that one a deeper level that it is a flaw in my mindset that i would give up a gen that has been "crafted"(however is it has a standard off the shelf Eta movement)for some thing that people may actually notice even thought it's a rep. I would'ent say that i did'ent like my Oris, but it just doe'ent have that wow factor that i thought all gens had. I suppose i was thinkin there was an enormous difference between all gens and reps, but there is'ent. It just feels better to look down at my AR coated rep that has presence than my "crafted" gen which is far more discreet. I thought owning a gen would kill off my passion for reps, but this hobby perseveres. Does anyone have a all black HBB to tempt me with?
  6. I was thinking a gen is a gen, so all the advantages are apparent. The Hublot is a very expensive watch at nearly $800 for a full ceramic. So the swap may equal out. I can't believe that i could acquire a gen but still lust for a rep. I really don't want to sell my Oris then buy the rep, i'd consider the swap, because i have the opportunity to give someone the pleasure of a gen. It's really strange, I could just buy a all black Chopard, Porsche design chrono, IWC top gun or even a bell & ross phantom. The Hublot just pushes the right buttons but i fear that by giving up a gen for a rep, it could be a terrible mistake. Can anyone verbally beat some sense into me? or is this normal behavior for a person who loves watches?
  7. Hi I have just aquired a gen Oris williams day date, but i have always had the urge to get a HBB all black. Would it be ridiculous if i was to advertise a swap of my oris for a Hublot? I'm in two minds about it. The oris is my first gen but i just don't feel satisfied by it even thought it will last forever with regular servicing. What does everyone think i should do?
  8. Work for A famous store in London. Its motto is Omnibus Omnia Ombique. Its also the largest Department store in the world. So the watch room is a candy store for me
  9. Good question, I'm not sure anyone can answer. I've only seen pics of a double tourbillon but if i could get my hands on one then its mine. I've been told that it will take a week for me to receive my watch. so i'll put some pics up.
  10. I think i'm gonna pull the trigger on a tourby. Dvn is selling a gold EX homer one. Just as soon as the order is confirmed This is a big moment for me in my watch collecting history. It's quite exciting

  12. So does anyone except king and homer have any tourbies? I love the double tourbillion but is there anyone who can get one for a good price? seagull want like 3k for one i think. I think it will be my next purchase as they are truly understated, but show a real passion for a good time piece.
  13. Hi I was going to look to buy one of the beauties from homer. A tourbillion. My question is that is it reliable? I have a guarantee buy what experiences have your guys had with these movements. It is a pricey watch so i would like some peace of mind that it would break down or lose accuracy within a couple months. I've good experiences with my rolex movements and unitas from panerai. But the tourby is more expensive. Can anyone input Thanks
  14. Can you tell from the pic that the hairspring is sticking? What eyesight you must have. My watch is running perfect now so i'm happy. But i have the option to service it from a member in the uk. I was gonna sell it but now its ok. Can you tell from the pic that the hairspring is sticking? What eyesight you must have. 15. If i have prompted anyone to make payment then let it be known public. but its not a scam because the 20-30 people would post and tell the whole community about any devious activity. can anyone tell me why this has happened? the guy that is servicing it says that it's the old oil sticking to the componants and causing poor running. It is quite common and will run off again any time. Is this really true? can oil stick like this?
