1. I have noticed that the people who buy a blue or black model find it almost impossible to re-sell. They last forever on the Watches for Sale forum.

Also I must mention that the hands and markers in this photo are in direct Summer sunlight. They are not bright electric blue naturally, but a deeper darker blue.

The lume is a lot of fun on this piece .. the hands are blue lume and the markers are green.
Yes that is weird. I would think that blue or especially black dials would be the most easy to re-sell. You know, the more "easy-to-swallow colors".

If i would go for a white dial i would like it with a black UN strap/clasp.. sexy!

  2. Since when do men listen to their wives? Lol! ;)

  3. Hi all,

I have decided to get the UN Maxi Marine Diver. With both SS and a rubber strap. I have no clue what color to get though. Im torn between the black surf and the blue surf. I have a Ebel 1911 (black dial), and a Tag link crono (blue dial) already. I dont have a black dial non crono though.. well no blue either.. Argh what to get?? In the pics i have seen on the forum they both look great. I dont care if the black surf is a fantasy model.. like anyone going to believe that i have a genuine blue surf anyway..

I wear jeans with a jacket or a suite at work.. i guess the black would look best to that. But the blue on SS just look outstanding..

Guys, clearly i need help here.

Pls post your pics of this great watch, pref wristies! :)

    Thnx! :)

  4. I got my 5`gen 42 PO today and for 128$ its a good deal. V.4 was more expensive. But this v.5 wont se any wrist time from me, it just cant compare in terms of build quality compared to lets say the Ebel Discovery. I guess you get what you pay for.

Btw be careful when you remove links. I managed to destroy all off the links that i had to remove. BAD glue!

  5. Hi,

i have read all the posts about the new PO 42mm with 4813 movement and ppl say that it cant take gen parts. But i have ordered the new PO with DG4813 inside and realised that it needs a gen HEV and crown. I would appriciate if someone could just confirm that its impossible to fit thoose parts on that movement.

Thnx for a great forum! I sometimes manage to get out, but the ppl here and watches keep pulling me back ;)

  6. Thnx alot for all the great pics. Very nice to be able to compare white vs orange numerals. Just placed an order with the orange numerals, so i dont have to bother with the off white issue ;) Im amazed with what you can get for 128$, finaly prices seem to be back on track.

    Thnx again!

  7. Hi,

Been away for a while and did a simple google search to get ahold of Josh site.. needed the new Seamaster v.5..

Got myself to www.watchc.com / www.perfect88clones.com .. looks like Joshs site. But no its not. This is confirmed by Josh. Im supriced it wasent stated here, so i thought a post about it would be in order. If its a scam site dunno.. but they clearly try to give the impression that it is Josh site. Emails from them ends with Josh sales team etc and they use Joshs logo.

    Thnx for me.

  8. It's very possible, as long as you can track down a dial :) Might be worth going with a no-date variant to avoid alignment issues with the datewheel, but I'd definitely recommend it as a project :) As long as you're happy de-casing a movement, and removing and replacing the hands, it's probably a 15 minute (if that) procedure :) The result, a watch which looks every bit as nice as a Submariner (and is still branded as a Submariner), but, as it lacks the R-Word on the dial, it flys completely under the radar B)

That is great news for me. Lately life has come in the way for this hobby off mine but now i feel the urge, you know the neeeed to get that Tudor project going. Thnx alot for the inspiration TeeJay :)

P.s Dont know if it will "fly under the radar" but that Tudor dial will get most ppl to shut up. ;)
