Yea big rep to sorting the problem even though it was prolly not your fault. As a newbie here im also asking for that movement school. If we all knew how to check the movement we could all put pressure on our dealers not to f**k with us.

Hmm no teaching so far... maybe i have a point then. Anyway, i have contacts in .pl and got guys who are willing to find jakub for a finders fee.

So what to do now? I dont want to send guys to anyone if im not 110% that i have been ripped off.

I for one dont want to call J a scammer cause my watch arrived at J`s place just over a month ago. So in a normal situation i would still wait atleast 4 more weeks before even sending J an email for a status check. But then again alot off ppl have been waiting months for their stuff without any word/false words and i guess you are pretty sure you have been ripped off. As you can see im a bit torn about this whole matter. The Admins here seems to know whats going on "behind the scene", should we go further with this or do you have any other suggestions?

My vote is that Admins here hire a Private Investigator to track Jakub down. Admins can setup a Paypal account so that all of us can chip in. We need to start doing something and i belive the Admins here are the ppl to do it.

Im sure my watch will show up.. someday. Seems weird to do a big scam with only the items. I have just sent a watch i have not payed him. If i were a scammer i would make sure to get the cash aswell. I just have to stare on my avatar and hope...

The Portuguese seems to be the closest match. Its a shame that it seems to be a fantasy watch, i actually like the design overall.

A couple of months ago a got this item as a gift. It was a 100$ item bought on the streets off Thailand. I cant find it at our dealers and im curious what cinda rep it is. Maybe you know? I know its not 1:1 etc etc just curious about the model.

Its 41mm in diameter and weight is 67grams. Are all IWC reps this light in weight?

I'd like to know if Silix increased his price of his UPO dial. (I'd like to swap his logo into the UPO from Precious Time)

From what I read on the boards, I saw that he asked about $35 for his dial (incl. shipment)

Now, I mailed him to aks a price, he said it would cost $51 incl. shipment...

Anyone knows about this, and why?

If i sold dials with a good logo and read that post about the swap i would raise my price as well. We all got to eat mate. I would have no problem with a 51$ mod instead of a 220$ gen dial.. if i knew how to do that mod.. i really want a correct logo on the UPO as well.

Buy the dial, change the logo and enjoy your timepiece even more then before

I have one that i bought from J. Works fine but look/feel is not the best. But then again im comparing it to the Link that i also have from J. Now the Link is just outstanding.

Just a small update. Talking to K2222 now and i will start off by sending the Link for double AR and dw swap. Also changed my mind regarding the Carrera and a leather strap. Have ordered a DI-Modell Jumbo strap that i think will fit the Carrera nicely. Ill post some pics when the Link is back and when the Carrera got the new strap.

Yea the Link is beautiful. It looks and feel as it came out from one big steel block. Everyone should have one, should be a human right to own something that beautiful. I am not partial hehe..

K2222 (Jakub) can do the AR and DW swap, I am unaware if he offers a movement service though....

Also you might want to pick up some sort of black leather racing strap for the Carrera, the strap with holes in.....

Sweet i will talk to Jakub then. I hope i dont need to get the eta wheel though, didnt find any on the bay. No strap for me, only SS. Maybe a rubber strap for the carrera, saw a pic with Hamilton using it and it looked neat. The SS on the Carrera could be more "solid" even though its very comfortable to use.

Im really thinking about changing the datewheel and get some AR work on them. I belive it wouldnt hurt to get them serviced aswell. Is there someone that can do all that? Hate to send a watch to 5 diff. guys depending on what work you want to have done *lazy*
