  1. Just thought I would put in my two cents worth (which in dollars isn't worth much nowadays...)! I ordered the SFSO white w/leather strap from jay on Oct. 22nd. Since he didn't have the strap, had to wait a few days to get it. It finally shipped out on Nov. 1st as according to the shipping notice. Can I tell you that I was shocked and surprised beyond belief that it showed up on my door today??? I am in Florida. I have to say, the communication from them was beyond anything I've seen, and I've only bought one other watch here from Josh, and that experience was great as well. But the continuous responses to my emails and the quick shipping on their part (i mean from the day they got the strap) is just beyond belief. I don't think you could get this kind of support from the Breitling stores!! In any case, my opinion is that I am certain that there are delays in many areas, and lots of unreputable employees that could potentially "borrow" the goods, but I have 1000% faith in the dealers from this forum now and forever! My only problem now is that since I have gotten this SFSO, I am hungering for another new watch.... Darnit! there goes next month's car payment...
  2. Hey again. I'll take a look there, but there used to be a section specifically for people who helped with such things, and they had section of their own to discuss these mods. Is that gone now? I'll vote, but what am I voting on?? I'll take anything for free, new or old!
  3. Hi there... I have a YM Rolesium, and wanted to get the "works" done to it so it's closer to real. There were actually a couple people here that were supposedly very good at these, but for some reason I cannot find the emails from them for the life of me!
  4. Hi everyone... I actually have been a member for a while, but haven't been around since I've been traveling a lot. Lots of changes to the boards!!! All good, though... I needed to find out where the forums went, or who the people are, that can do mods for a watch I got from Joshua about six months ago. I had spoken to someone, but have lost the email, and now I need to have a bit of work done on it. (mind you, this is all improvement, since it still looks as good as the day I bought it, and works like a charm!!!! Thanks, Josh!!!) If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!
  5. Hey there! I was in your exact situation not even a month ago, and all I can say is to READ, READ, READ.... I took the advice of the more "experienced" people on this board, and I could not be happier! I spent over 5 days just reading about everything I could possibly see, and when I couldn't see any more, I did some searched for specific words. I picked up a YM Rolesium from Josh, and it is probably the most beautiful thing I've seen! When I had to adjust the band, I got help from Nanuq, and got it done quickly and easily. And when I showed some people I know the watch (they are Rolex owners), they admired it, and told me it was about time I got one! After that, I let them in on the little "secret", and they couldn't believe it! So all in all, I would say you have certainly found the right place, and at the right time! You should feel blessed to have come upon this place, and make sure you tell anyone who is thinking of making a mistake to stop by!
  6. I can certainly agree with that... Also, please let me apologize for replacing your "q" with a "g", Nanuq! Oops.... won't happen again!
  7. Hey nanug!! You are the master!! I actually got a screwdriver set, and with a little time and a couple of minor incidents (misplacing the screw even after you told me to put them on a soft cloth), but now it fits like a charm!! Woo-hoo!! Thanks again, and I can't wait to go on my trip now... I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. And I can't tell you how much I absolutely LOVE this site and the dealers, even though they will make me broke in the next year or so....
  8. You know one of the things that scares me the most? It's when someone says "you can't screw this up"... Yikes! But I'll give it a shot anyways, and see what happens. It shouldn't be that difficult, I guess. I've just never done any "surgery" on these before. I can remove a camshaft from an old 69 Camaro, but never worked with small screwdrivers! Anyways, thanks again, and I'll let you know how it goes!
  9. Hi nanug, and thanks for the help. I just don't want to screw it up at all, since I would love to wear it on my trip! I am just short on time, so I don't think I have enough time to get it serviced before I go, which was my first choice. In any case, I'll take a look to see what I can do, but I would always prefer a professional to work on it!
  10. Hello there, I have just picked up my first rep, and it is too big to fit around my wrist. I need to get it serviced as well, but am leaving town next week, unfortunately. Is there a way to remove the links on my own so I can get it to fit? It is a YM Rolesium rep from Josh. Anything you could tell me would be great, since I don't have time to send it to you and get it back in 5 days including the service! (or do I?) Thanks for your help!
  11. Thank you all for such a warm welcome! Here's the scary part... I haven't even received the watch yet, and I'm already wondering what mods need to be done to it to "authenticate" it even further, and what the next one will be... Hmm... maybe it would have been cheaper to have been ripped off!! (Okay, I'm just kidding here...) But in any case, I am having such a great time going through the site, and the mods, that I forget to actually work. Fortunately, I can set my own hours, so there is no one to wake me up early! So what suggestions would you have on a mod for a RYM? I have spoken to Joe, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what is needed there? Thanks again! And I am very glad to be here!
  12. Hello everyone... I must say that I almost made a very large mistake a few days ago by ordering a rep from one of the ... let's just say... "less trustworthy" sites out there. Then, after doing a bit more research on the web, I came across this site. I cannot tell you how excited I was to not have made that costly mistake!! After reading on here for the last three days, it has been amazing how much I've learned, and still hope to learn, from all of you. As a matter of fact, after reviewing everything, I have decided to place my first order ever with Josh Nana, and he has been great so far in answering my questions and making sure I was comfortable. In any case, I just wanted to let everyone know how great it is to find a place like this, and that I am on my way to click on the donation box to make sure that this site keeps on going for a long time to come!
