  1. Hi I have two watches, about 3 years old with the same issue. I have a Breitling Super Avenger and a Chronomat Evolution Both Asian A7750's bought from Puretime. The crown only has about a half a turn left to catch on to the tube. Can anyone advise what is the more likely to have threaded, the crown or the tube. I am in the UK and would appreciate if anyone can give me a pointer to anyone in Europe who could possibly repair this issue. Cheers Del
  2. Just received mine back this morning after repair. You will be totally blown away when your receive this watch. Quite simply awesome in my book.
  3. Sent my Breitling SA back to my dealer for repair. Used a service from the UK called "International Airmail" with the added option of "International Signed For". Despatched the watch from the UK on 06/06 and picked up the tracking trail on 12/06 when it arrived in Beijing. It has since been moved to the local airport Guangzhou International. The problem I have is it has sat there now since 16/06. The tracking system translation on the status reads "The total imports of each package closure seal fat". Should I be worried that the watch will not get to it's destination or is this normal within the Chinese Postal system? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Del
  4. Thanks for the input guys. The pictures are back with my dealer and hopefuly he can sort me out with something. When put side by side with my SFSO the contrast in colours is massive. The chrome (clearcoat) peeling is something only very very recent but the gold tinge is getting worse week on week. Will keep you posted on the outcome. Thanks again. Del
  5. Purchased last September. Dial was a decent shade of white as per 1st photo. Dial has been steadily turning a weird shade of gold. Now the chrome on the numerals appears to be peeling. If you look closely you will see there is a dark section then a lighter bit around each of the numerals. Watch has never been opened, never been wet and never exposed to any chemicals or extreme conditions. Treated exactly as my other watches. Anyone got any idea whats happening here? Contacted the dealer with regards a replacement dial. Thanks in advance. Del
  6. Can anyone advise approx going rate for of a Black SA Replica dial (number version) and approx cost of fitting in the EU (UK Prefrerred). Anyone got a black dial to sell please drop me a PM. Thanks Del
  7. Just the four BCE in graphite SFSO White SFSO Black Super Avenger (Whiteish) Next stop PAM253 but may add a Skyland & decent Navitimer at some point.
  8. The best measure I have on the dial "whiteness" is when compared side by side to my SFSO. The $100 SFSO has remained a bright white colour whilst the SA has changed quite a bit. Don't get me wrong it still looks great and is probably unrecognisable to anyone who is not an expert. Probably even adds a bit of character to the watch as it does not cheapen the look. Can only assume that either the colour change is due to light exposure or a contamination from one of the materials used in the dial construction.
  9. Anyone else noticed a distinct change in the dial colour of the Super Avenger. Although never the right colour as discussed many times on here the dial was at least white. Over the months my dial has slowly changed to more of a very light champagne colour. Best way to describe it would be white with a very suttle touch of gold added. On closer inspection I am now seeing the area directly around the numbers are a little lighter than the rest of the dial area. The watch still looks superb but beginning to wish I had gone for the black dialled version now.
  10. Would also be very intrested at $105 delivered. Any word on which dealer is making this offer would be appreciated.
  11. Had a SFSO repaired by around the middle of last year. Stem had become detached so simply a case of re-attaching to the movement (no spare parts required). The whole process took around 8 - 10 weeks and a ton of emails and PM's demanding the return of my watch. Whilst the job was done (although the date does not change from the stem unless it is held at a certain angle) I was seriously unimpressed by the customer service aspects. It took an age from the point where he told me the watch was fixed to eventually posting it. Personally I would not send another watch for repair. After reading this thread this has confirmed my belief. To be fair I do not believe he there is any dishonesty involved. If there had been I would never have seen my watch again. More a case of disorganised and por communications. Possibly I am doing him a dis-service but just my honest opinion.
  12. An absolute beast of a watch. I have the white(ish) version and have to say I am 100% delighted with the purchase. I have 2 SFSO's and a Chrono Evo, both are also superb. When I wear any of these for a few days then move to the SA the size of this watch is mindblowing. When you first put it on your wrist I defy anyone who has not experienced that wow factor. Buy Buy Buy IMHO
  13. Great review and excellent pics. I have had the white version for three weeks now and it seems to hold excellent time. Excellent power reserve also. Great value for money.
  14. Both my Swiss ETA & Asian versions are red like the gen. Looks like a fault to me.
