I say go for it too ! You can sell them on 'risti too... I'm in for several 24mm and 26mm buckles

Wow ! Crazy engraving job !

I'm also interested in the answer. I use to think that hands used in a 47mm watch could look amazing with a 45mm watch. As going deeper on the dial and indexes.
BTW, have you pics of your 45mm vintage radiomir please ?
Please follow the link to see my watch : http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1480

hi friends,
i have just bought two vintage radiomir, the first in 45mm and the second in 47mm and want to change hands for gold ones :
For the 47mm watch there's no problem, but for the 45mm rad what hands do i need : hands for 44mm watch, or hands for 47mm watch ?
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply rolli. I have seen your pam gallery (and the two 3646 pics with the springbar between the lug) with great interest. your watches are first class ! Congratulations !

Hi,
I have a question that may be silly... I have bought some days ago two 3646 (one 47mm from Pam111.com and one 45mm from Silix).
I'm now waiting for these watches and browse straps makers pics.
The lugs are welded like gen 3646.
I wonder how you put a strap on this kind of watch ? Is there a spring bar between the lugs that will be covered by the strap or will the strap must be stitched to the lug ?
Thanks !

Today i have bought a 3646 from Paul that will be modded.
I have found this link with interesting pics.
Take a look : http://forum.timezoneitalia.com/index.php/topic,2536.0.html

I am going to Geneve for a few days in early August. I have heard its a great place to get some deals on the gens, particularly used ones. Anyone know any shops or markets I should check out?
Thanks in advance!

May these pics help you ?

Did you sand down the CG, or....?
I'm just wondering what happened to the Reg. TM. engraving?
On a vintage 47mm the crownguard engraving will be "brev ital", not Reg. TM.

Non of your pictures are visible to me ??????
They were visible.. And now not.
I will upload them via Photobucket.

Hi guys, I'm back at rwg after a very very long time without posting, more than one year. Glad to see old friends are still here !
I'm actually planning a 3646 vintage project. This afternoon browsing on an Italian board where i usually find vintage Panerai pics i have found some useful vintage straps pics. Hope they will interest you.
First series, Panerai made strap (Quality work, stainless steel buckle) for watches, depth-meter and compass.
Second series, Marina Militare strap to replace eventually worn Panerai strap. Interesting to know that the Marina Militare did not bought straps from Panerai but make themself ! (Lower quality, brass buckle).

Nice white sub! Congrats! and congrats to Rob for this terrific job.
Fun to see the pics of a "The Zigmeisterfied" sub 'cause my mbw is on the way to The Zigmeister for modding too! It will be a little different from Schultz sub with a tropic 19 plexi (the tropic that ordinary fits 5512 and 5513 subs), because i don't really like the tropic 127.

Very nice indeed! Congrats Marco!
