for the first couple of months I wind them 20 or so times. Then you won't have the problem. They apparently need a break-in period.

Great review, By-Tor. I've got the Tag Chrono and really luv it. Just ordered the SMP. I'm sure I'll feel the same.
You've done us all a big favor with this review........Again.

Thanks for the great insight Robert, I'll look into business class Luftansa next time to EU. Have a good trip, did you bring your Viagra Blue IWC? I'm always flying at thousands of feet too when I log into the rep. forums, but its usually from the results of a bottle.
Yup, I did. Enjoying on my wrist as we type. Take it easy on the bottle. I prefer a joint. that way I don't tend to lose consciousness..........just a little reality.

I'm back down to earth in Sofia. I was business class so had plenty of room. What was interesting was that the wireless on the 747 seemed faster than most??
BTW, Lufthansa 747 business class is the best of the European airlines in my view. I will use it whenever I can now.
It's gonna be a new age.......as someone said, there is no getting away now.

There is no escaping any more.
See you soon.

I just thought, how bazaar. Looking at reps from 40,000 ft somewhere over the atlantic (heading for Sofia). They now have free internet on Lufthansa's 747's. I just can't get away from this forum.
still Hooked from 40,000ft!
now let me see...which watch did I want to order???

Great watch! you are going to enjoy it. The U1 is one of my favorites.
Wear it well.

Good Stuff! you're a good guy.

I can't believe I just found this thread. I guess I just ignored it since it wasn't about watches.
I agree with the sentiments about the porn avatars. It really bothers me that those people who put them up have such disregard and lack of respect for those who are part of this forum, and who seem to feel that their sexual issues should be of interest to everybody. If I want to see porn I know where to go. This is a Watch forum!
No wonder women don't come to this forum.
Totally sexist and immature. Say's volumes about the the poster.

It's different. That why I like it. Stunning photo's Neil.

Great Post, Rongoms. Couldn't be better said.
If that were not true, why would we care what brand it is...........!

The movement is a lot nicer than the old version.
There was a minor improvement in the tachy ring, but it's still not correct. the font is off. The gen has a slighly more vertically compressed, less bold font.
The other problem is the 1 on the chrono @ 3 is serif, on the gen it's san-serif.
Man - if they fixed those two little problems (and maybe used a better blue paint onthe chrono hand) That would be one of the best pam reps out there.
We'll, if those are the flaws, this is about as good as it gets for a rep.
I wish all my reps only had those flaws

Wow! you do beautiful work. That is one of the best looking (if not the best!) vintages I've seen.
-
That's one of my favorite places in London. I've acquired some wonderful vintage's at really low prices.
Unfortunately, with all my reps, I never wear 'em,LOL.

Neil, no one will ever accuse you of not having style. Nice to see such classic beauty's and they seem to come from only one source!
-
Yes, truly a beautiful watch. The only issue is that it has no date at 6.

Zig, Absolutely great post. I found this place just before you and was amazed at the quality THEN! Over the last couple of years we've seen such huge improvements in a wide variety of models that, frankly, I'm even more amazed. I find it funny that there are so many who nitpick what we have now. You know the one's I mean ("I can spot the flaws a block away"!!??). They should have been here a couple of years ago.
This is the golden age and I can't wait to see the next year or so............before the crackdown on reps occur. It surely will at some point.
Get 'em while they're hot!

Happy Birthday, Pug.

Great thread. I have the chrono and have been wearing it for the last couple of weeks on and off and have had no problems. Sweep is smooth and the chrono's are working flawlessly (use it several times a day).
One of the lucky ones?

Beautiful watch and beautiful photo's. thanks.
