not to get into an argument here but if i remember right PayPal earns on fees and pays on funds (until transferred) with a cheapness usually matched by the big 5 (BankAm, Chase, WellsFargo, USBank & Wells Fargo)

someone told me that PayPal is one of the biggest banks there is now
