  1. Sorry about the quality of the picture, but can anyone tell me what make/model this watch is. I think it is a breitling but I can't figure out the model. Figured I would "ask the experts." Thanks folks, Mike
  2. The more the merrier. I will let you know as well. Mike
  3. These watches must not be good timekeepers... not one of them shows the same time as another. a joke of course Mike
  4. I am in that area as well. The only indoor range that I know of that allows select fire weapons is Ft. Laud up on 441. I will throw you a pm next time I get a chance to hit the lanes. Mike
  5. They already make them. Real reps (POF, SW, Bobcat, etc.) Fake reps are made by companies like Airsoft. As for why to own an MP5... because I can... and because my agency gives me one. Mike
  6. Who down here (Ft. Laud area) shoots on a regular basis? I could always use range buddies. Mike
  7. Issued gun... but it is still always nice to meet another HK fan. Mike
  8. He is going to have issues with his sponsor whatever watch he is wearing. My guess would be that he has a clause in his contract pertaining to appearances of impropriety or something like that. Again, this is only a guess, but I would bet that Omega is already in the process of "re-negotiating" his contract. Mike
  9. Anyone who has Bill Hicks as an avatar is good people in my book too. by the bye that quote is taken from the USMC "rules of gunfighting". Give it a google if you are so inclined. Mike
  10. I am also very new here, I think this is my third post. I bought a UPO from Eurotimez a few months ago. My experience with them has been good so far. The watch doesn't keep really good time but Chris (Eurotimez) told me to time it for a while and get back to him. Euro always answered questions quickly and delivered in the time stated. I have heard great things about BK for Rolex reps, and if I get into the submariner buying mindset I will pick up one of his $530 1:1 reps. Basically anyone in the collectors section on this forum seems to be on the up-and-up. Good luck and welcome... also, anyone who uses a firearm for an avatar is good people in my book. Mike
  11. A chronograph is esentially a stop watch... but analog. The subdials count off seconds, minutes, and hours. Yours probably will just sit and do nothing. But you would be suprised how many watches are worn with "fake" chronos. People just seem to like the look of the subdials, but don't care if they work or not. Mike
  12. Alright, I timed the watch... sitting on my nightstand it keeps perfect time. Once the watch is on my wrist it gains about 10 minutes a day. I already sent it back to Chris once, and although it is much better now (gaining 30 minutes a day), it is still not great. I think I am going to just bite the bullet and search around for a local repair shop that can fix it (as opposed to sending it away for another 7 weeks.) Unless anyone has any suggestions *it is important to note that I have no watch repair skill, and when it comes to small mechanical parts I am about as useful as a houseplant with a chainsaw* Mike
