I have one of Andrews fine Chopard GTXL. Great great watch. However, a couple of weeks ago, the rotor fell off. The three screws holding it in undid themselves. So I opened the back up and put it back the rotor back on. No problems there although it is now a little noisy. Oh well.. Now the watch is running crazy fast. I think I bumped something while fiddling with the rotor. Looking at the photo below there seems to be two adjustors on the movement. 'A' (photo below) looks like it has a small screw on it and seems to hold the end of the spring. 'B' is similar but has no screw. What is the 'A' for? Is it a 'coarse' beat setting? How do I adjust this movement. Thanks guys.

I just ordered my third from Andrew. I feel comfortable with his service. Never had a problem and shipping is usually quick. About a week from order to wrist. I am in Maryland.

Need new SS bezel for my EL PAM 165

Yes. The bezel wasn't 'high' enough. The diameter was fine. -
Need new SS bezel for my EL PAM 165

Nope. Doesn't fit at all. Not 'deep' enough. -
I dropped my Eddie Lee 165 a while back and dinged the SS bezel. I haven't been able to get one through Eddie, I was wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction. Mine is the 7750 version. About 18 months old. Thanks

Andrew, your 46mm 92 (non chronograph) uses a 21J automatic correct?
-
OK. Does the second hand 'sweep' or click around like say a Seiko
-
Yes, I have been waiting on this for a long long time. My question is about the movement. It is quartz but the original is an automatic. How realistic is the quartz movement. Still getting me one though

I don't have a problem with porn either. I just don't see why some feel the need to produce porn avatars for use in a watch forum. If this was a forum for warez or spotty teen youths driving hopped up Hondas, I would maybe expect it but otherwise I see it as juvenile. Call me an old fart if you want. I run a very large web site/forum - all I will say is that it has to do with a major sports team and gets over one million page views per month. It is generally understood that kids could be viewing so while the language can be a tad salty, porn is verboten and nobody whines about censorship or their civil rights or freedom of expression being stomped on. It is just being civil to your fellow posters.

So it's a third? Thanks. Now I can search.

I needed a daily beater as I am always polishing scratches out of my PAM. I chose the $98 PO from Andrew - I wanted something with a rubber strap and my buddy has a real one and I thought I could have fun pranking him. So...what gen PO is this one and what are the flaws. Hopefully I'll have it on Monday
-
I was going to put a brown strap on it anyway. I think I'll get one. The real one must be huge.

Darn it. 39mm vs 46mm Oh well.

Joshua has these in black or white and I love them. The price is right as well ~$100. Anyone actually have one of these? http://perfect-clones.com/product_info.php...roducts_id=1050

I want a nice sandwich dial as well for a daily wear but the swan neck is a must. Might get an orange PO with a rubber band. Choices choices.

Um...am I too late? I would like one coated.

I have that exact watch and $189 is a deal. Notice that it does not have the recessed cannon pin like a lot of the PAM reps. The cyclops is weak and the date font is wrong but it does look the part and only a total PAM head will notice that. It is technically not a 104 because the '6' is incorrect - actually the dial is different. It is more like a 165 but without the bracelet or brushed case - I think - I must admit to being totally confused by Panerais numbering system.
-
Is there anyone who provides parts such as the brushed lever for PAMs. I need one to try something. I've seen complete CGs for $58 on eBay but was just looking for the lever. Thanks
-
Right. Yours is like mine. Here is a pic: However I have seen several pics where the arm swings out from the bottom like this one:
-
I have seen a few PAMs with the guard upside down IMO i.e. with the actuator arm folding out from the bottom. I know that the guard can be inverted by undoing the two screws and reattaching but is there a 'proper' way? Cheers.

My new 165. What else!!

EMS seems to be the preferred method and is fast. I live on the East Coast of the US. I received a watch yesterday from the ROC. The EMS envelope was dated 4/25. I received it 4/27. Tell me how that works!! Yes, keep your emails brief. And your pp transaction should be per the dealer's instructions.

I'm not too keen on the bracelets - a bit too bling for me. I think all PAMS should be on a leather strap - the subs on a rubber one. But that is just me Here's a couple more piccies - different camera.
-
Yup. 7750b1. The pin wasn't 'flat' on the end, it had been cut at a slight angle. I removed it and ground it flat with various wet and dry paper. Looks even better. I think I'm addicted now. Looking for my second.
