  1. Can anyone PM me and let me know which of the Trusted Dealers is good for the 008. This will be my first PAM. I've only bought Rolex's before and looking to start to get into PAM's Thanks
  2. for your 2) Rolex Submariner Black/Black in Stainless (I'm Scottish and Connery wore one in Dr No) I just bought one my self from Josh. I got it last week and so far i'm happy. I got the newbie version of the watch for $108 free shipping with Asian movements just so i can see what the process is like. So far so good. My next submariner will probably be from him and something a little bit better quality. His site is: http://www.pc88clone.com/ He is good at getting back to you quickly.
  3. Blackberry is very nice. I have it for my personal use and I love to text on it. BUT i would go with Iphone. They have so many applications it's not even funny. I have the Itouch as my ipod and it's awesome. Makes me wish i had the Iphone instead.
  4. Thanks for the info. This forum has been a great help. Already looking forward to buying another rep.
  5. I just asked a buddy about the winding noise and he said the same thing you just said. Too be honest i know nothing about this stuff. Like i said this is my first Automatic watch so i really didn't know what to expect. LOL. I'm trying to learn as much as i can.
  6. Guys, I just got my first Submariner Replica in the mail today. Very excited to get it. However I do have a couple of issues with it. 1 I know won't be an issue to resolve. The wrist band had some traces of a rust like color. I bought this from one of the trust dealers that is in this forum and I know his Customer service is good and will send me a new one. The other issue however is that when I have the watch on my wrist and make any sudden wrist movements it sounds like it makes a bit of a loud grind noise for lik 2 seconds then goes away. Again I bought this for $108 as its' my newbie and didn't except top of the line quaility. What do you guys think. Is this normal with a low end brand or is this just defective and should ask for another one? It almost sounds like when i shake it hte watch tries to wind itself?! Any ides of what the issue could be? is it something I can fix myself or should i jsut ask for a new one? Thanks,
  7. Thanks...i really appreciate your responses.
  8. Guys, I'm very new at this and i'm quickly becoming addicated. I've already purchased my first watch from Josh and waiting for it's arrival. Been looking at lots of posts as people have been doing a lot of work to modify thier reps. Is there any documentation or books out there that can help me get started. Not sure if it's just maybe easier than it looks but i've already purchased some tools and looking to get into this hobby. Thanks,
  9. Hi i'm new to this. Just bought a similar one. I'm actually new at all of this. I"ve been interested in watches for years. I'm finally getting into the replicas. Anybody have an advice or resources look at to really understand how this works and what to look for. Thanks.
