  1. Don't have much to say (even remembered nick longer than 2 letters for Ken... maybe my memory makes strange effects...), this community has always a place to call home. Howevertalking about serious things every self-respecting forum should keep you from putting an avatar with too many naked women inside. True? The RWG limit amounts to 0.001% naked women for avatar. There will be an upgrade to the rules? A family pack upgrade?

  2. Sorry, I'm new here and I was lost trying to enter. Fortunately, hearing the noise a bear and his friends pushed me inside  (maybe for fear of damage to the door). I would like to thank you all for the welcome and also ask who has the best soup? And do not answer: "use the search function", the last time I found a confidential document entitled "The long, very long and never-ending story of the best soup ..." since then I am afraid to use the search function.

    Sincerely yours (maybe White Lies),

    Mahler

  3. I will not bother on watch and brand, both are known on forum and some stories seem a bit legend (like the history of the Dubuis Depraz module that before was accused of fake and then legitimized by the manufacturer of the module with an explanation that the problems of the movement were due to tolerances not observed during the assembly by the Invicta, certainly a different story is "the movement is a Chinese Fake" and another saying "incompetent have assembled wrong dial and hands on a gen movement").
The watch is more or less a tribute to the classic rlx design rlx but overall it's well made and the NH35A/Seiko is a really good movement for this price range.
The only thing I did not like was the pearl and the absence of lume (except on the hands), so I decided to improve these aspects.
Originally was so (note that I took a knock on the bezel)

Today after relume with superluminova, looks like this:

  4. My experience, the dial of a rep have a "SWISS MADE " words crooked, after the third refusal with same type of defects on dial, in the end I asked the dealer if another dial color have the word "SWISS MADE" straight. After a few days of waiting, the answer was yes, the first batches of black color dial chosen had all written "SWISS MADE" crooked while the silver batches color not. So I decided to train to be more patient and also offer options to the dealer to find a solution that suits both. Unfortunately they are replicas and those damn flaws will always be there.

  5. I ask for advice, since the beast is back on my wrist, I decided to make another modding on the old titanium caseback made a long ago.
What I still can not improve is the finish of the caseback. From my point of view is definitely better than the standard rep caseback, only for the reason that it's true titanium not a steel/metal painted. However, the finish can improve... so what tool / material would be appropriate to use for the best finish like the gen? At present... I can not get a glossy finish, but only the one in the picture. Thanks.

  6. I have the idea of trying to improve the rep tube on 380. But before :g: , I would like to know something about the construction of this tube. Does anyone know if is screwed to the case or simply pressed into the hole?

Thanks in advance for suggestions and advice :clap2: .
