Watch is from MReplica Top Gun V1. Better in My opinion than v2 as the crown is much more accurate to gen. THe side engraving is no issue as you can mod it , just trying to get the correct gunmetal color to it. 3 Simple mods done to it 1) twogeek AR Coating 2) Superlume with watchlume WL-WG C1 Like lume 3) Used a silver paint to repaint the top gun engraving ( Gen color is gunmetal, but I am having problems getting the color, so silver paint it is first!) Today I walked into the ad and viewed a gen BP, The lume markers are actually lumed lightly at the markers, and strongly lumed at the 3,6,9,12 markers, so we are all wrong on that! lol..

yes there is lume , but very weak

i doubt the strap is gen bud, reason is because this is the one with the power reserve indicator and the lug size is instead of 22. so if the strap fits, the strap is not gen, simple.

guys lume shot will be posteed tommorow, lol, i got to spend more time with my girlfriend. at coolfire, definately will not want to liquidate after putting in so much dough on this, but as we all say, you'll never know

THis is my latest aquisition and build. Mods done: 1)Pushed the marker to 7 days as per the gen. 2) Superlumed the 3,6,9,12 markers and hands also 3) Twogeek's super AR. 4) Modded the datewheel with an extra datewheel insert, making it close to gen, even the so call reps with " non recessed" datewheels don't come close! 5) HK Tan croc strap burgundy, the next best thing to gen. Here are the pictures, lazy to take lume shots.. but will take soon. look at the no glass effect: pictures don't do justice. The Clasp: The Crown: The Strap: Some more shots! As you guys know I am always looking for my perfect deepsea, and it is a dream that i want to fufil and mod the best looking DSSD!! I have taken apart my V3-V5 Hybrid DSSD for this comparison, if the photos are not labeled, left (TOP) is always REP and Right (Bottom) is always GEN , take note!! Thinkbach's Rep A random Gen from the net. CASE : I have the Deepsea v5 case here, which I believe is the best case as dimension and build are spot on. Even the edges and everthing else is well done!! CASEBACK Construction: The caseback and the titanium part of it has the correct shape and the fonts on the back are spot on Almost fully disasembled! AS for the dial, I am using an Ultimate dial from TT as I believe it has the best bevel among all the dials. Gen is a satin finish, so I sprayed my dial matte to match. Note that there is no bezel insert on my rep as I am still modding it!! Case and BEZEL SHOT Construction is a little different here, with the gen having 4 springs for bezel lock and rep only has one, but hey $10000 difference!!! BTW my crystal was ARed by takashi and in that aspect better than GEN!!! Even the Ringlock Mecanism is Removable!! Notice that for the gen there is 4 holes on the case, this is for the bezel spring, to create the tight click effect, for the rep, sadly there is only one hole.. CRYSTAL Thickness.. I would say crystal thickness is pretty spot on, but I can't be sure just from pics.. what do ya say!! Hope you enjoy my little side by side comparison to gen, and now it is back to assembly of this little monster, until then.. Alvinado

yes it can be done.. something like the deepsea bezel mod. using thinner to remove the original paint on the rep, and replace it with silver greyish gun metal paint, than use a cloth to lightly wipe the excess off.. i will do a tutorial soon!!
