  1. Ya know... back when these were new, as has been said, they didn't sell all that well... so sold in '69 and made in '67? Oh I'm almost surprised that it sold that quickly. As others have said, it does look like a 6240 to me, as far as the dial goes, who knows.. Rolex was a lot looser with spare parts back then and furthermore these were not exactly produced in huge numbers so who's to say? As far as value.. depending on condition.. $20-30k probably.
  2. I can think of a few.. generally blinged out Hublots, and well.. a lot of it depends on the wearer. When the guy who delivers my chinese food at the dealership (I'm a Used Car Manager) I work at is wearing an 18k YM2, yeah, I am a tad suspect We do have a number of employees with nice Gens but a lot of guys have some pretty bad fakes, there's one guy who comes by and sells them Canal street reps for $180-200! Yikes!
  3. That's no surprise. I can't name how many times I have physically watched my postman walk up to my door with nothing but a notice. No knock on the door, no nothing.
  4. I doubt you can get a discount an an AD on these, on some parts of the country the waiting list is looong. Seems like a good deal if the watch is mint, box and papers, etc. List is $11750.
  5. A bunch of stuff... 54 Ford Customline Fordor: 239 V8, Fordomatic, Heater.. pretty basic car. 60 Lincoln Premiere Coupe. Factory Air, Cruise, power windows, seat, etc. Neat car and very rare Winter beater is an 07 Lexus GS350 AWD. I dislike the car and HATE Lexus NA. Also an 88 M5, 97 740iL and 2x PA Vauxhall Velox project cars. And an 06 XJ8
  6. You guys think a 16520 feels light and cheap compared to a 116520 would flip out if you handled a 62xx Daytona.. especially with a folded bracelet, although the rivited ones ain't much better.
