Hi, I am glad I found this site! I have been obsessed with learning about watches recently! I am interested in the history of clocks, wristwatches, swiss watches, and timekeeping etc I am even more fascinated with automatic movements and their elegance. I am amazed how resonating quartz crystals at 32,768 hz can be divided electronically by 2's to get a nice 1 hz movement. Unfortunately, this comes at a bad time because I am in the middle of my medical school education! This is my new passion and I am looking forward to learning a lot, so all help is welcome.
