I received a Rolex Datejust II. The clasp does not lock. I press it closed and it falls open. Am i doing something wrong or is it defective ?

I have Breitling SOSF which will not allow me to set time forward. However I can set it back. Am I doing further damage ? I can live with the annoyance.

I have a Breitling Bentley when I give it a shake and wear it it runs fine. However I cannot manually wind it. When I unscrew the crown it is tight and will not turn. One click and the date changes fine. Two clicks and the time set is fine. Is this something I should be concerned about?
