In my search before for a complete movement, I emailed several US Watch parts suppliers. I got an email this morning from one of the very reliable ones, WPS and they have several brand new EBEL 134 El Primero movements complete for $1380. Bummer for me since I already procured used ones.

The 17 Jewels will still work and is the same movement with less jewels. 4030 is not 36k. Rolex modified the movement run at a lower 28800 bph. The 400 runs at 36000 bph. Datrons also came with 31 jewels. I believe the 17j is for the US market. During that time watch imports were taxed on the number of jewels. ps. did u see the pics?

El primero Hour wheel is available from Ofrei or Borel directly. For Ofrei option 2 when calling Part # 255. It's about $20 + shipping White dial is gen. Black from case set but I also have a gen black dial. So I have a spare black 16520 redial if anyone needs one =)

@Freddy. Thanks for the reply. Only thing is the 3rd one is wider than the other two. I'm hoping someone has the right measurements. It's also angled a lot more. @Db1, thin blade go around pushing up. It should pop right off.

I have (3) 16520 bezels, 2 came with the case kit and 1 I bought from Ebay Italy. Bezel 1 (EBAY Italy) : Nice deep/black engraving, UNITS and PER seem to close. Bezel is pretty flat. Bezel 2 Looks GEN but is used and has a bad dent @ 240. Very Flat and nice deep/black engraving. Bezel 3 (Supposedly MBK) Engraving is thin and not very deep and dark. Bezel itself is a little thicker and angled more than the other two. UNITS PER HOURS are not centered vertically. Your thoughts ? I've been gone for 2 years being assigned to work in Vienna. Now back in the ol'USA. Old member here from RWCC and TRC days. Glad to have found this place. Was trying to find the old TRC and couldn't... I was typing the URL wrong with a "the" in front (how stupid). Finally found the right one and to my dismay, it's closed!! then I saw light. A link to RWG. There is hope ! I will pay for premium membership in a few days. Now on to read all that has happened since and see who's still around. Cheers! Francisco
