The finished product. I removed the PVD from the clasp screws with a small file and polished them with 1000 then 2000 grit sand paper. Thanks so much for the tip on the clasp screws!

Anyone have any pictures of a gen PVD clasp? I think I will try to fully remove the PVD coating on the clasp screws.

I swapped a gen smooth rubber strap onto my black magic full ceramic. It looks and feels great. It's much thicker and stiffer than the rep, giving it a much more expensive feel. I'll snap some pics soon. The only problem is, I scratched the pvd coating off of a clasp screw before I realized that they don't come out and that it's just a spring bar holing it on. My crude homemade "H" screw driver was a little rough. Does anyone have a PVD clasp they want to get rid of or know where I can get one without paying through the nose? I would also like to get another silver "H" screw that I put a tiny scratch on as well.

Plat mat rep has grey hands, gen has black. Huge flaw in my book.

Full ceramic black magic is spot on until you flip it over. I had the full SS but it got nicked and scratched. The full ceramic should resist that. I'm waiting on the gen smooth strap which should make this an ultimate..ultimate.

There's a guy on repgeek with a OEM brushed for sale. I almost bought it but decided to stick with my polished bezel. I could get his info if someone is interested.

I think some have swapped the low beat 21K rotor in to lose the sawtooth look of the high beat rotor. Since you've gotten this one engraved you probably don't want to do that. I'd like to get on of these rotor and see if it fits the high beat. If it does I'd get it engraved. When did you get it engraved? I thought Jacob was MIA. You could always buy a gen strap for it. I'm waiting on my gen smooth strap for my all ceramic black magic.
