  1. Just got the email.  Also, sad to hear about Nanuq(Bob) passing away.  I've been off here for years watching my son grow.  It's crazy to think that when I joined the rwg community back in 04, my son was an infant, and now he's graduating high school in 2 weeks.  For all the younger members who may be reading this.  Remember, enjoy life because it flies by quick.

It was a pleasure skyping with you many, years back T.  Same With Ken.  Take care and enjoy it while you're here.

Please accept my donation as a thank you for providing this forum back when I needed it.

It's been a long absence, but nice to see old friends! Miss you guys!

Have not done much with watches in a long time, and frankly, with some of these new pieces coming out, there's really not a lot to do with regards to building either. Admittedly, it's kinda strange to have a new rep that doesn't need a gen dial, or hands or crystal... And more shockingly, has a reliable clone movement with 72hr power reserve...

So, been spending a lot of my free time putting miles on the car. Miles of smiles 🙃

  3. Damn, I see the forum is still going on.....

Is Thomas still the admin?  I see Ken is still active 😀
Haven't been on here in a long, long time.....

I still have my RWG Collaboration watch from back in the stone ages....

Looking to get back into some watches.  The new omega seamaster has grabbed my attention... Who'd the man these days?  I use to get stuff from Eddie Lee back in the day and some others..

  4. If the President wants to spend $1Trillion to create 3.5 million jobs it will cost $286,000 PER JOB to do so.

OR Save jobs.... Obama's smart. When 1 million jobs are created he can claim that he saved the other 2.5 million with no way to prove otherwise. The save clause is his out so that the kool-aid drinkers can defend him in the future.

  5. If only that were true.

Darwin's theory proscribes that "selection" removes the population members that are ill-fitted for survival.

In our current economic climate the ones LEAST fitted for economic survival, speaking in broad terms, are those about to be bailed out for their poor choices. The ones that have paid their bills and lived within their means are the ones doing the bailing.

This is reverse Darwinism, if anything. It certainly is not capitalism.

I just hope the stock market doesn't go kaput in the next week or two. Obama opens his mouth and the market takes a dive. Soon as the loons pass card check, it's all but over....

  6. The worst part of it all is the clear implication from Obama that there are two sets of rules when it comes to paying taxes - so much so that he felt compelled to address this notion forthright on NBC. All socialists seem to think that paying taxes is for the little people.

I was willing to give Obama a chance, but two weeks in, things aren't looking all that great.

First we had Bill Richardson, then Geitner, then Daschel, then Killefer.... Geez.. what’s next? Skirting your own policy of not bringing lobbyists along? Oh wait, he's doing that too.

Not the mention the stimulus plan. What a cluster…At least he's willing to slap that nut job Pelosi around when needed.

Obama looks less like a leader and more like a man reacting to events. Hope and Change, Hope and Change…..
