  1. Update:

found another tread about this problem.

Member Lazoon had the same problem as I do.

I found out that the date will turn at midnight, but not manually...

The DG2813M 21j Asian movement from Cousins comes with a white datewheel which has chamfered teeth on the inside diameter.

The 21j in the POrikka has a black datewheel & straight cut teeth on the inside diameter.

If you fit the black datewheel inside the DG2813M 21j Asian movement from Cousins, the date wheel does not rotate

    at midnight.

Not sure if the DW overlay can be switched from POrikaas movement to a DG2813 from cousins..

  2. I suppose if he had the skill to do it himself he could. I know my watchsmith is hesitant to work on a $15 movement.

Well that´s the thing.. is it worth working on a cheap movement.

I just use my Porikaa as a "roughscuff" watch.

So I might go with a low beat in the end.

  3. Hi!

    My daily beater is dead.

The movement will wind but it´s not accurate and date wont change at midnight.

Is it worth replacing the movement?

    I think it´s a Asia 21j (4813) , but I´m not sure.

Can I source that movement for a reasonable amount of money, or will it take another "better" movement?

  4. most phones are dust/water resistant and a $200 Dell comes with Gorilla glass

this Tag is a piece of overpriced junk unless they're throwing unlimited satellite data & every app in the store for free :D

I agree, that´s why I want a $200 rep of this :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  5. Morning all!

I'm looking for a new cell, but not sure, don't want to buy Apple agaaaaain, allready have almost everything from them. Does anybody has some experience with it? Does it work with a Mac? Is it better then a blackberry? (The BB is without any doubt the best mobile i had)

    Thanks for your thoughts... :drinks:

    Here´s one for ya :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  6. why ?

    p.s.

WTF is the crown for ?

    Why. as in:

    1. why have they built this

    or

    2. why should they rep this.

    1. Why not :D , I think it looks good. And after I have read some articles it seems like TAG has put a lot of work in to it. It will be dust and water resistant and "gorilla glass" should give the screen some advantage over the rest of the smartphones on the marker

    2. It´s freaking $4700 :bangin:

    PS! dunno about the crown

  7. I had a HTC Hero, now a Desire S. I felt that the Desire HD was a tad too big for slipping into a jeans pocket etc.

Anyway, a colleague has a Wildfire, and to be honest, i don't rate it as well as the Hero! The screen quality isn't as smooth or sharp.

The Desire S, on the other hand, is a very good handset. I'm very happy with mine, no issues so far. (knock on wood) The large screen is a big Positive, especially for web browsing, gaming and of course, SMS typing where the larger 'keypad' is an improvement.

And there´s also a differences between the Wildfire and Wildfire S.

I have a Hero, had it since it was released, and I´m happy with it.

I´m thinking of getting a new one, and it will be Android again... I love Google :-)

  8. I will not write a long-ass article here.
