  1. Hi WRG guys ,

This time is asked to do a PAM249 mod job .

The owner has a gen PAM249 , so he knows about the point he want to .

    So let's see the rep PAM249 ,

The first bad part is the AR , too blue .

    DSCN5007.jpg

The dial numbers are too white , and the lume is bad .

    DSCN5008.jpg

The CP top need to do the polish job .

    DSCN5009.jpg

Seperate all and get ready to work .

    DSCN5010.jpg

    DSCN5011.jpg

    Take off the plexiglass .

    DSCN5012.jpg

After remove the AR , we get a clear plexiglass as gen .

    DSCN5013.jpg

Remove the cannon pin , and flated/polished the top .

    DSCN5014.jpg

Relume the dial and hands ,

    DSCN5017.jpg

The dial after relume , the color become more natural than standard rep look .

    DSCN5019.jpg

    DSCN5020.jpg

    DSCN5021.jpg

    DSCN5023.jpg

And the lume effect , sorry for the shacking .

    DSCN5024.jpg

Then just put them back and finish the mod job .

Here comes the beautiful PAM249 cali dial & the dealer stand from River .

  2. Very nice job mate, very nice

So explain more on the CG mod if you dont mind, Do you mean a sheath rather than O ring ? Did you rebrush the CG body or just flat/ polish pin?

    Nice lume job :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    I didn't rebrush the CG , just flat/polish the pin .

Aboutt he o'ring , here's the post I ever shared in other forum .

    1. seperate the CG like this .

    DSCN4634.jpg

    2. Set the pin well on the wood holder .

    DSCN4948.jpg

3.The tool to flate the top of the pin .

    DSCN4949.jpg

4.After some works , the top would be like this .

    DSCN4950.jpg

    6. After polished it , you will get a flated and polished top of pin .

    DSCN4954.jpg

    7. The tools to add the spaces for the o'ring , the right side one is for wilder , the lefty is for deeper to add the spaces .

    DSCN4955.jpg

8.And you can add the o'ring like this .

    DSCN4891.jpg

9.You got a nice moded CG like this .

    DSCN4892.jpg

    DSCN4893.jpg

  3. Hi all ,

I would like to share the PAM243 I did today .

The 243 is the same as model as unregistered ever shared before , so that we all know the differents compare to gen .

    Here's the PAM243 from the dealer .

The marks on the bezel are all brushed , so I will polish them .

    DSCN4920.jpg

    DSCN4921.jpg

The CG looks good to me , just need to tight the lever & flat & polish the CG pin .

    DSCN4922.jpg

    DSCN4923.jpg

Take off the CG and the case back .

    DSCN4924.jpg

    DSCN4925.jpg

Seperate the case and the movement , ready to work !

    DSCN4926.jpg

I polished the marks on the bezel at the first , you will see that's big different .

    DSCN4927.jpg

    DSCN4928.jpg

Then , I add the o ring in the CG to make the lever tighter . Also flated the CG pin top and polished it .

    DSCN4929.jpg

Move the original pearl on the bezel , I will rebuild the pearl to make it fit the color .

    DSCN4930.jpg

The second is relume job . This time , I will do a little different about the relume .

Check this gen pic at first .

    00010128.jpg

You will see the color of lume pigment on the dial , numbers & marks are different .

So , make them different might be a good try this time .

I mix some C3 & C1 for the numbers & small marks on the secs .

    DSCN4931.jpg

The first step is done , you will see the numbers are brighter than marks .

    DSCN4932-1.jpg

    DSCN4932.jpg

Next , mix the tritium yellow looks for the marks , hands , and the pearl .

    DSCN4934.jpg

Done , it;s different to take a good shot by the digi-cam .

    DSCN4936.jpg

    DSCN4937.jpg

    Set the hands .

    DSCN4940.jpg

    DSCN4942.jpg

    And the lume shot .

    DSCN4943.jpg

    DSCN4946.jpg

And all done after I rebiuld the pearl .

    Here's the result .

    DSCN4956.jpg

    DSCN4957.jpg

    DSCN4958.jpg

    DSCN4959.jpg

    DSCN4960.jpg

    DSCN4961.jpg

    DSCN4962.jpg

How do you guys feel ?

  4. This MM20 is from Kool_Watch as the owner of PAM187 I shared yesterday .

And I will share the works I done to this MM20 .

You can see the original MM20 when I receive is like this .

    DSCN4861.jpg

Open the case back and take off the movement cover .

    DSCN4862.jpg

Remove the hands and dial for relume .

    DSCN4863.jpg

    DSCN4864.jpg

    DSCN4865.jpg

And this is how I do the sandwish dial relume .

    DSCN4868.jpg

During the time waitting for the pigment full dry , I fix the CG pin and also add a small oring to make it tighter .

    DSCN4866.jpg

    DSCN4867.jpg

Also , I flated the cannon pin top and also polished it .

    DSCN4869.jpg

And the result is like this .

    DSCN4871.jpg

    DSCN4872.jpg

    DSCN4873.jpg

    DSCN4875.jpg

  5. Hello RWG guys ,

I want to share this PAM187 from a friend in Singarore this time .

As I know , rep PAM187 is out of product for a while , and he find one from China and send it to me for some upgrade .

I will share them here for you all .

As you know , the marks on the bezel are very rough , so I need to polish them .

And also the relume job to make it looks closer to T-dial . Then , the CG pin fix .

So let's check the works I have done .

Here's the pic when I receive it , standard rep green lume pigment it have . Strange CG pin .

    DSCN4836.jpg

And take off the case back , also seperate the movement , hands , and dial .

    DSCN4837.jpg

    DSCN4838.jpg

Remove the old lume pigment on the hands .

    DSCN4839.jpg

I also remove the pearl on the bezel , during this time , I do some polish work on the bezel to make those marks smoother .

    DSCN4840.jpg

And after the relume , you can see the result ,

    DSCN4845.jpg

    DSCN4846.jpg

    DSCN4847.jpg

    DSCN4849.jpg

Next , fix the CG pin . It's already tigh enough , so I just flated and polished the CG pin .

    DSCN4841.jpg

    DSCN4842.jpg

    DSCN4844.jpg

Put them back together , done !

I will share two of them I already moded these days .

First one is the 249 cali dial .

I relume the dial and also the hands , the original is pure white lume on the hands . That's strange to me .

Polished the cannon pin top to make it more perfect .

Just let the pics speak ...

    This is original looks

    After moded

Another one is the Ti case with PVD gun color movement .

IThe original dial is sandwish with orange lume , and also I relume it and try to make it looks like vintage dial .

Cannon pin top and CG pin are all been polished , I also add a o-ring inside the CG pin to make it tighter .

    Here're the pics ,

  9. Hi all ,

The owner of this B&R ask me to relume and want me to make it brighter .

As you know , the orange lume is not so bright at all .

So I try to mix some C3 with the orange lumt powder to make the lume brighter than original .

    Let's check the follows ,

    The original

    DSCN4675.jpg

    Open the crystal

    DSCN4677.jpg

Original lume effect , just can be seen on hands .

    DSCN4680.jpg

After the eyes contest for relume ...

    DSCN4681.jpg

    Check the result at first

    DSCN4682.jpg

    DSCN4684.jpg

    DSCN4685.jpg

    And the lume

    DSCN4686.jpg

OK~~screw back the crystal and the job is done !

    DSCN4687.jpg

    DSCN4688.jpg

    How do you feel ?

  10. Hi all ,

I had been asked to do the relume job for this PAM001 , and I was surprised with the PVD coating was so great .

The owner told me he send this case set to USA to do that , and the price is not cheap , maybe you guys might intresting in that .

    Here'a the link to the company , http://internationalwatchworks.com/pvd.html .

You can check the pics bellow to compare with my rep PVD case .

    DSCN4658.jpg

    DSCN4662.jpg

    DSCN4663.jpg

    DSCN4664.jpg

I think this PAM001 is much closer to Gen , real gun color as we said .

And share some pics about this good replica PAM .

  11. Hi all ,

I just been asked form a friend to search for a PAM087 , and I want to thanks Polo do his best to find one for me .

He told me this PAM087 was found in stock form another dealer , the one and the last .

After a week for the shipping , it arrived finally .

So , lets check the original look when I got it .

    DSCN4613.jpg

    DSCN4614.jpg

And take a look about my PAM087 with the new one .

    DSCN4615.jpg

You can see the original lume color is too green for a C-series T-dial PAM .

So it 100% needs to have a relume work .

Just take off the CG & corwn at first .

    DSCN4619.jpg

    DSCN4620.jpg

    DSCN4621.jpg

Set the movement well and take off the hands .

    DSCN4622.jpg

    DSCN4623.jpg

Put the A7750 movement in the movement box and leave the dial and hands for relume .

    DSCN4624.jpg

Remove the original lume on the hands .

    DSCN4625.jpg

Destroy the lume pearl on the bezel , I have to rebuild it to make the color looks the same .

    DSCN4626.jpg

Next , prepare the lume powder and dye for tinting .

I usually mix C3 and a little orange lume powder then tinting them to yellow like this .

    DSCN4627.jpg

    DSCN4628.jpg

    Relume the hands

    DSCN4629.jpg

Relume the dial , the first picture is for you to compare the original and after , big different .

    DSCN4630.jpg

    DSCN4631.jpg

Fill the lume pearl with the rest lume pigment .

After it dry , I will fill the clear varnish to make it looks like a glass on it .

    DSCN4632.jpg

Next , I will do some works on the CG .

    DSCN4633.jpg

Separate the CG like it .

    DSCN4634.jpg

Polish the CG pin (I forget to take the pics) , and also add a small o-ring to make the CG tighter .

    DSCN4635.jpg

    DSCN4636.jpg

    DSCN4639.jpg

Set the dial and hands on the movement .

    DSCN4640.jpg

Put it back the the case and also serew the movement ring back .

    DSCN4641.jpg

After screw up the CG , the PAM087 is done .

Check the pictures after relume and CG moded .

    DSCN4642.jpg

    DSCN4643.jpg

    DSCN4644.jpg

    DSCN4647.jpg

How do you feel about it ?

  12. After I sold some of my PAMs , I would like to have a PVD PAM to be my new project .

    DSCN4520.jpg

    DSCN4519.jpg

    DSCN4522.jpg

    DSCN4523.jpg

    Thanks for watching !

  13. To dluddy : This is not my first relume work , I done a lot this years .

To R_Squared : My friend order this PAM249 from Polo , so you can mail him for the dial .

I use TriTec Superluminova C3 to do the relume job .

To Cats : I believe there're many masters can help you doing this , they're all better than I .

To hooky : I know what original is , but the owner want it looks older , so he asked me to make it looks a little yellow than original .

But I think my pics can't show the really color , sorry about that .
