Well my new OP stopped dead on arrival after being in my messenger bag. Has it been magnetized? Ill let you know when I know...

Hi guys. I just received a very nice Belstaff bag with what seem to be rather strong magnetic clasps on the front and side. I was planning to travel with the bag and as such put some watches in it when I do so. This may sound silly but will these clasps magnetise my watches? The watches (mostly 7750 movements) will be in a watch travel case inside the bag... Anyone had any problem with this type of thing? Thanks all A

Me too. I usually travel across Europe and the US with 3-4 watches at a time in my hand luggage. Never had a problem.

Had my V3 waterproofed yesterday. Watchsmith noted that incorrect O-rings were used by the factory, also no grease (no surprise - but wrong rings was a bit of a shock)... Get em checked before you swim guys!!!! Then enjoy the summer Alex

I am building a Franken and I need to know whether the V7 ice bang (which was a mash up of left over V5 parts) had lumed hands and or numerals? I think it does. Weak, but it's there... Can anyone confirm this please... Thanks!!! A

Hey guys Just thought I'd share some info with you all... Today I gave my V3 to a watch smith to test for its waterproofness (if that's even a word).... The result... It failed! Unfortunately I don't know how far it got before it failed but it definitely failed... So... Beware!!!! And check before you swim!!!! A

Got this qc pic this morning (number 3) and accepted it. Looks pretty decent apart from, maybe a small spec of Lume on the dial that I can deal with... Let's see when it turns up... A

Really - huh! No surprise, I am sure that they will be recycling through the rejected models - what choice will they have... It's a shame... I also remember a time before QC pics and it was very hit and miss with the quality... however these are not $200 watches and they have been built up, advertised and PRE-SOLD as 1:1 by an "expert" rep maker known for hitting "bulls eye's"... Perhaps he'd had a few beers by the time he was throwing his darts and the board because there certainly seems to be an ongoing issue with the lume and inner bezel. Maybe they are rushing them into production now? Think I'm gonna say no on my 2nd one... shame but I've waited this long... may as well wait a little bit longer... A

Hi Guys... FYI - I just received my 2nd set of QC pics... this one looks a little better but I'm still thinking about saying no. Again - the markers at the lower half are troublesome and the lume on the "50" seems uneven again (always the 50....) and I think I can see spots of lume on the dial under the "50" as well... Screws look okay though What d'ya think? Thanks A

Sorry if I am being stupid here but can someone please tell me what the difference between these 2 reps are.... http://www.puretime.co/product/royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-edition-black-dial-on-bracelet-a7750/ (2012 model) and http://www.puretime.co/product/royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-ss-black-updated/ (2008 model) apparently they are both "1:1" so logic dictates that they should be identical (lol)... at first I thought (or hoped) that it was a better date window position on the newer model but in the video it seems to be the same as the 2008 model... AR seems the same, as does the lack of silver "outlining" on the dial numbers... New DW.... maybe? That off white color as per the gen? Hard to tell from the pics... Anyone??????? Thanks A

Hey guys Tried this a while back but didn't get much info - figured I'd try again... Anyone know if V5/7 Ice bangs are compatible with V1's - Ie can you swap cases and or movements around? Also - does the V5/7 IB have lume?????? Thanks A

The markers do look a little off but that may be an easy fix as the inner bezel may not be correctly aligned (12 seems slightly off as well, so it may just need a little turn)... Screws are not too bad... much much better than the one I just rejected (below)...

Well, I've been waiting for my qc pics now for about 5 weeks. It's a pain but from what I can see it'll be worth the wait. And, Angus is great to deal with, the communication is good so I'm not worried. It's kinda like waiting for Christmas
