  1. pa nego sta; suzvac kao u dobra stara vremena!
  2. I have to say that I am a victim of my own watch gluttony! Just picked up two moded superreps: 112 LH and 243 with all possible mods… after I spent all the money, comes a local deal: Gen B&R 03-92 mint (really like new) + box and papers and 3 straps all for 1800 cash. I was so mad that I wanted to pepper spry my self! So Gen watch brands are rite: buying reps is bad!
  3. @ Oncyte- hahaha that is funny! RG is down and i cant go to my PM's but i think that the watch in question was yours at one moment. it was sort of easy for me to get gen Pam crystals before but its harder now. i just ordered two crystals and that is it, i don't think i'll be able to swing some more soon. who would guess that gen Pam parts would become such rare commodity. did anyone try 2geek/taka crystals for Pam? i have 2geek HBB and it looks grate; have to order one with double AR just to see...
  4. what sort of mill or dril are you uning?
  5. I think it was swapped; it cant be so bad! strange thing is that i used electronic diamond tester on it and that crustal is reading as hard sapphire, for one grade harder than gen BR that i had on me in a moment of testing... i will have a gen crystal by the end of a week so this ant gonna last long. this was a used watch and the guy who sold me the watch is OK but more and more good parts are "upgraded" when used moded watches are changing the hands, so as a result cartel Crystal on a LH watch becomes LH by affiliation. Moded rep game is way more fun then Gen scene!
  6. just received 112 LH watch is Ok but crystal is so bad that i have no words! or maybe i was expecting to much from it? a)its tin and you can see and feel that. celerity is low and it looks as glass window. is way below of the level of the watch. my all my pam reps (just two) have gen crystals and i dont have any free rep crystals around to put them side by side but i really think that DSN criystal is way better then this
  7. my ex took my gen 177 for a one day and it stayed with her 2 years later! during that time i tried to get her 49 (tried to trick her with a rep) but she didnt like it as much. main reason was that 177 was lite, so i would say go with Ti it is bigger but easier to wre... ya nad and small buckle on 24/22 strap are must for comfort fit
  8. Sixx don't worry this is just a start. i have a 112 and i made this 24mm just for that; looks sweet, but this strap is making it go over the top. i really love Donerix exotic straps and this one i didn't use so far i was saving it for a this buckle. silver is grate and i really love the contrast when silver bucke is placed with SS, PVD or Ti watch
  9. Not planning real manufacture yet. At this point I would like to see where to go designee vise, before I make real step forward. Also it would be nice to see what other members think. That's all. Noting is for sale and so far: two are for me, one for my partner, one for Eric, and one for Sead and for couple more friends…. Other interesting thing is that I just realized that I am not a platinum member and i should be
  10. its a skull! skulls are scary
  11. It was a productive day at my shop; I made first set of 7 skull buckles. Six are 26mm and made one is 24mm. All buckles are made in 925 sterling and at the moment I just used spring bar but they will be welded for saw=in buckle. Skulls are set with 1.75mm cognac diamonds and 24mm is set with 2mm white diamonds. Total weight of a buckle is around 30 grams. All of them are totally unique and they are made by carved by hand in wax and all of them have different finish. Its super hard to see that on the pictures but there are 2 layers of oxidization and 2 different textures on every buckle; giving a lot of depth and 3D effect to it. I have 4 buckles more to go and I will try to use completely different finish and some crazy green diamonds that I have. I’ll upload it when am finished. Sorry for bad photo’s but its just the snap. One buckle with white gold skull and white diamonds is mounted on Donirex black crock and it looks sick (that is going on my 112) and my partner took one buckle for his 217 and he set his stones in a way that skull is “looking” on a side to words him (unfortunately he left the shop early so I didn’t shoot it). So what do you think? I would love some input from you guys… Thanks for looking
  12. reliability issues, electrical, parts and all that is a solid point but i still cant get over it! my ex used to say all the time "but it sounds like its going to fall apart "... at thee moment i have a tow vintage parallel twins and one project (1969 honda CB), for sure i need every day machine and this time i told my self: No Monster's, that is it! And again am looking at S4... i really wanted to pick up friends speed triple just for a change, but then same bug started again... its like a problematic girlfriend that you really hate but no other girl makes your hart jump like that. Jota is such a sweet bike; witch one do you have?
  13. i was wondering how big is Ducati club on RWG?
  14. one of nicest cars around...
  15. i am jewelry professional that understands a rep game. this is hard to answer...what you need! if you need someone to do reset of keyless on 7750 than any rep friendly local guy with a set of screwdrivers and a lupe can help you. you don't teed a master watchmaker! rep or gen you dont! you just need to find someone in local who is rep friendly and that is it. And then if you need to rework SF240 to small second; then you are in more of demand and yes than you need a good watchmaker. Modding is hard biz, QC is as is, parts are low grade, people have high hopes (100% gen 127 for 1000$ type deals) and finally its "gray". you need a lot of work and risk to make 60 or 100 bucks and your skill level has to be on the level of any good WM that works at AD... non of my friends who are rep friendly (not too many of them) are willing to take on modding project just because of that reason. they will fig your hair spring or maybe swap a movement but that is it... so guys look for old guys and small shops and get more in to it my 2c
  16. Steve McQueen's Porsche for Sale: http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2011/03/14/steve-mcqueens-porsche-sale/
  17. And one more thing, installing rep movement pats is a no-go but tube is just the tube; I know couple of old timers real wash makers and they used to make parts and install them on a Pateks and VC with no problem… we, new generation; we are way more by the book and loyal to brands… just my 2c
  18. That was a first thing I did. I have couple friend that are watchmakers at different AD; problem is that two official Britling sale-reps in Montreal “unfortunately don’t have” that item In stock and its on 14day backorder… BS that’s a way to say if you need something with this watch come to us and pay 350 dollars for disassembly and THEN you wouldn’t be in this pickle… small time politick. If I need anything for Panerai, Rolex, Omega or even B&R I can get in no time but Breitling was always a pain I ars… I just wanted to know what is situation with SA super rep and if the tube is swappable or not… BTW I was stung how soft n fragile that tube is, like on IWC rep!
  19. Hi folks, i hope that someone can point me in rite direction. I make jewelry, that is my day job, today i pulled a part gen SA in order to set diamonds- bling it out i know what you gonna say but client is a client and this is a job... now i have a problem, i dropped a tool and bent the tube. i need a new tube. in theory i could try to fix it but but it would be bad if the crown messed up over that. i have lot of pam parts gen and homage but i have no contact with Breitlings. i would need some help. i need to know if the SA rep tube is swap or not. also if anyone know where can i look for that tube online. thanks for the help
  20. and some non-watch stuff that he did
  21. Movements are art object and if you treat them rite... Specializing in still life photography, Guido Mocafico shoots gorgeous pictures. over the years he worked for international magazines such as Numéro, French, American and Men’s Vogue, Big, The Face, Self-Service, and Wallpaper. He has also undertaken numerous advertising campaigns for Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Clinique, Shiseido, and Hermès...
  22. nice idea Pite, i can make a ting that fit a CB and then mill the case and fit a ring. unless there is better idea out there i will go this way. only problem is that i love this watch so much it is going to be hard to part with it for the time... also i was thinking of putting blue hands. I love the fantasy projects!
