  1. You make it sound as if
  2. Headed to Tokyo in April for the first time. Looking for shops/markets that sell reps. Any ideas?
  3. Surgical Research - first CTS, then endourology, now ??? Ortho if I get the job
  4. On a sh*$y note; I will be losing my job at the end of April I have stated before that I work in research, and unfortunately of the 3 grants I wrote we were not awarded one. (of course those grants included my salary for the next 2 years ) Anyway what I do have is a plane ticket worth 700usd (after change fee) I had to cancel a business trip to China and the flight was nonrefundable / transferable. So I'm looking for some ideas on where to go. Some place that's cheap (since I don't have a new job yet) I love a good experience and truly enjoy other cultures. I'm not the touristy type; i like to meet the people. I have until November 09 to use this ticket. Other than English I don't really speak any other language (some German and some French but by no means fluent) So tell me what you think guys! I can't wait to use my "severance package" Geneva
  5. Thanks for the compliments Lani. You'e right, I'm new for sure. I started with a "classic noob move" and ordered from a scam site (actually my bf did); Ken saved my ass in helping me get out of the order. The watch from the scam site was 350; I ordered from Andrew at TT here for 250. I was not only saved from losing 350usd, but also save 100usd and gained peace of mind. After that I thought it was only right to become a supporter. Ken doesn't know me and had no reason to help, but he did, and the more I read this forum the more I am impressed with the people in the community. The cost of the upgrade is very little and nothing at all compared to the wealth of knowledge and friendship you receive in return. You guys are teaching this girl a lot! Note to my fellow Noobs: Use the SEARCH option... it will be your best friend. In the case of reps I don't think instant gratification pays off. The research you do here however does. Geneva

    Dr. No

Nice watch pic! Nice camel shot too. lol
  7. I just purchased a ladies J12 for myself from Andrew. (will ship after CNY) I ordered the quartz J12 that looks exactly like the quartz on the Chanel site (white ceramic with 18k gold... plated on the rep) . (I will post pics once I receive it.) I really like the look of this watch it's feminine but not "blinged out". I think it will make a good everyday watch. I think in this case quartz is ok, since it is what is in the original. Plus you wont have to worry about maintenance or hear her complain if it stops working from misuse. They do make this watch in automatic too if you want that route. Good luck on your search. Geneva
  8. Hey Guys, My first rep came today and I have to say I LOVE it; flaws and all. I want to thank all of you here at RWG for all of your posts . Your comments and that awesome search option are the reason I found the perfect first rep for me. Hope you enjoy the pics. You guys rock. Geneva PS. No pointing out imperfections... it is a "replica"
  9. My bad. Sorry for the premature reply boys. Should have kept reading...
  10. Hey Guy's, I live in Saint Louis MO and know where Tucker is. (located in city). Let me know if you need any investigations or if there is anything I can do to help. Geneva
  11. Looks like the camels took off from the cold, but left their toes behind
  12. Just to update; we were able to cancel the order. I did place one with Andrew, who has been awesome to deal with so far. Great, prompt, to the point responses. I'll post pics once I get the J12. (just wish they reped the black one w rubies... she's a pretty one)
  13. Hi Ken He paid with his bank card (mastercard) not a credit card
  14. He guys, Need your help. My boyfriend just told me he bought a rep Chanel J12 from replicahause.com. (350usd) He placed his order this AM (Central Stand). Once he told me I gave him the sham sham sham (felt a little bad cause he was trying) Anyway do you think its too late to get his money back? It has not shown up on his bank statement yet. Let me know if there is anything we can do or if we are just "SOL" on the money . Let me know. Thanks for your help guys. Best regards, Geneva
  15. STL it is my friend! You too I assume? Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. Salary in academia just doesn't allow for "real" indulgences, but I think this new obsession is much better... for the wallet and ego
  16. Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply to your replies. I work in research and grant deadline comes before...well...life. Anyway, Thank you soooo very much for your input. It has been a huge help and I hope all of your replies have aided other ladies that frequent this forum. I'll keep all of you posted on my first buy and the many that I'm sure will follow. I'm addicted before I've even started! Thanks again loves!!!! Best regards, Geneva
  17. The one thing that is repeated here at RWG is "read, read, read"; which I have been doing. When here I spend 2-4 hours easy, just reading and searching. However I am a girl, and I get that this is mostly a "guys" addiction, so though there are posts for ladies watches, there could stand to be a little more. This post is a cry out/request to our seasoned friends for a 2009 ladies watch review (though I realize it is always changing). A top 10 if you will. I'm not looking for dealer info, but just a most current best rep of ladies watches. Well made ladies reps seem hard to come by. I personally (from an aesthetic point) am not into super girly, nor do I care for a mans watch on a women. However, this request is not about me, but finding the best rep for ladies, based on current availability, trend, and craftsmanship. I have yet to buy my first rep, and doing my part by following all of your guides; which I truly can't thank you enough for . This forum has really opened my eyes, so I'm doing my homework! Thanks in advance for everyone's help. Best regards, Geneva
  18. Thanks for the welcome! Is it sad I've been on this site since 3 hours??? On the clock too. (pun intended) Hey any recommendations on watch?? (not kidding) I was set on the Breitling, but the reviews for ladies watches was crap. So the search is on again. My wrist is 6.5" (all the way around, measured with string). I'm not in to the whole man watch thing. I'm sure it's hot on some girls, but not this chica. Just not my thing. Also not in to a lot of "bling bling". However I'm open to anything, all apart of the experience.
  19. Well, it is great to be here. My head hurts from all of the stuff I've been looking at on line; so I'm excited to get some real info on a rep. I have never owned a "real" watch, so buying a rep is hard when I have no knowledge to compare it with. I had decided to save for a Breitling, but that was 2 years ago. I hope to gain knowledge on the watches so my rep will make me believe it's the real thing along with all of the "no bodies" I hope to impress with it.
