  1. Hmm.. -_- I've built a huge number of gaming machines in the last 9 years, and my recommendations were to allow you to get the best gaming rig out of your system...

You see, like I said - buying low quality or having inconsistant RAM in your system will cause you a diminished performance in games.

The 9600 GT is not even comparable to the 8800 GTX, if you can fit the card in and get it at a good price like I've seen.. you should absolutely choose this card.

  2. "Output 400W Max", That seems fine to me! I'm gonna go to sleep now, but with what I've seen I'd say you're good to go ahead and buy as I recommended before: A Geforce 8800 GT or GTX (The GTX is the better one.. but I dont know what you'll have access to!)

You may look to changing your RAM if you wish, but I'd personally leave it!

If you do decide you must get new RAM then I'd recommend taking the stick of it that you have in there to the store just so you remember the speed etc !

Will check my PMs in 6 hours from now if you have any questions ;)

  3. Theres a few great signs, nice big healthy looking case fans and nicely conservatively wired (Red SATA wires bottom right are a good sign).

You're motherboard (manufacturer) and model is: (ASUS) M2N-VM DVI

Really really need you to tell me what "wattage" on your PSU is! but I knocked this together for you (sorry for the bad annotation quality !)

    bytor.jpg

    The procedure you'll follow is:

    (1) Remove the "Removable" metal piece that allows the card to come through the back of the machine (You'll need to plug your monitor into the new card as it now displays the screen through it)

    (2) Un'tab' the PCI Express slot

    (3) Line the card up with where you removed the metal piece and the card slot and push it all in, should 'clip' in and the tab will click into place.

The green represents where the card will sit, which is another thing for you to look out for. Be careful when you're buying that you don't get overexcited and buy one that goes too far across the case (as you can see, any larger than I have depicted in the picture and it'll interfere with your other connections!)

  4. I would not recommend buying RAM too quickly as RAM inconsistancy and/or incompatibility (AND low quality) could be a harnessing factor to your computers speed, in a huge way!

The video card is a different matter however! It'd help if you had your motherboard manual handy so we could go through some specific requirements, it'll state the exact motherboard version number too so I can look the specs up online, you could always take the strap off and look between the lugs.. wait.. no ;)

The video card you're correct about; it cannot be taken off your motherboard physically but there are a couple of things you may need to do. Sometimes the onboard GPU can be simply disabled in the BIOS, and sometimes you can physically disable it by moving whats known as a 'jumper' on the motherboard itself. I'll guide you through that if necessary but for now we can just use the BIOS settings.

Basically all you do is install the new one, then disable the old one in the BIOS, remember the PSU issue I mentioned though. Tell me what wattage it is (it will say on it; i.e. 500w, 450w etc)

  5. Ohh, my area of particular expertise arrives at last! ;)

Your "video card" is actually whats known as an "onboard" GPU or Graphics Processor. Unfortunately; they are never good.

You would benefit hugely from buying a separate video card, I could explain and use words like bus and aperature, but you may as well just take my advice ;)

    With that said theres a few things you need to check;

Firstly, your motherboard accepts PCI-Express cards.

Secondly, your computer 'case' could accept an extra card fitting inside the slot (some modern graphics cards are an extra 1/3 in length which can cause.. "issues".

Thirdly, check your PSU (Power supply), you're going to need to plug the new external device into the power, and if your PSU isnt up to the challenge, you're gonna have some real big problems.

I'd recommend a Geforce 8800 GTX, which was the highest spec graphics card for the best part of a year and are currently available at bargain prices. 512/768mb models are both available!

PM me if you need anymore information!

  6. A 14K Wrapped TT will fade and you will find this unsatisfactory.

All the Sub LV reps I've seen have the ugliest inaccurate inserts, id go as far as saying there is no high standard replication of a Sub LV up till this point..

Skip the middle part where people buy a noobmariner or some other sub replica then find it unsatisfactory, and if you want the best rep pay bklm1234 or WM9 through his site for a Submariner 16610 while you still can.

Saying you want the best sub rep without going to WM9 is like saying you want the best Big Mac without going to McDonalds..

  7. No need to jump on this guy, he hasn't used language that implies he's trying to kick up anything at all...

However alexx, the responses you have are a result of you being lazy as there is enough information to answer all of the questions you have on the board. We appreciate - with the amount of information that is available.. that people spend a while searching topics before starting a thread of their own.

Interestingly enough; given the niche topic and level of knowledge needed to understand much about the board, many people find they read the board for weeks before they are confident enough to start discussing things, but the answers ARE there..

To do you a favour and answer your post I'll tell you that WM9 products are well praised as is BK's exceptional service. As I understand it WM9 had some trouble with some far far earlier products, however is not the case with the current ranges.

You can purchase confidently with both of the dealers you enquired about. Whats more - BK's satisfied customer list stretches extremely far.

  8. My wrist size is about 6.5", I have kinda small wrists.. but I think it looks fine.. Although it looks like it in the 2nd picture, the lugs dont actually hang off the edges of my wrists..

It's the thickness of the seawolf that makes it seem larger!

  9. I bought a NATO for my Submariner, and it completely changed and revived the watch for me. The problem with my Seawolf was that with the rep rubber strap being a little stiff still, it holds the watch slightly more off my wrist than it should, its no major issue.. but I thought I'd experiment and put my 20mm nato on my Seawolf, I realise its actually slightly too small.. but we're really not talking massive differences here..

The nato helps the watch really fit to my wrist alot better, and it looks pretty awesome.. although.. I have to say it almost makes it wear thicker! I think I just about manage to pull this off with my wrist size. Funny enough even when Im lifting weights my ultimate wrist size where the watches reside doesnt seem to change much.. perhaps I need to change my lifting routine.. Lani!?

  10. I'm not sure why the rep makers don't make the non chrono versions.. they do it on purpose though I'm sure.. It's a shame. Aside from the Black rubber covered (Galapagos edition) chrono I like this non chrono quite abit.. Relume on the bezels are going to be a nightmare if they are covered already arent they!?

  11. Really nice choice & pics, I've seen a few of these about on women "in the wild". Maybe they are abit like a womens Rolex in terms of status? :D I mean, after all.. they kinda use a ceramic version of an oyster bracelet.

Great thread anyway and props to a number of things:

    +True Religion jeans

    +Awesome pictures

+Revelation that BT is with a younger lady.. dundundun.. Although 11 years, different generation? Im not sure ;).

Women seem to be into phones.. It's a big part of their image for them. They spend all day watching "The Hills" then go out and buy Blackberrys to link to their single hotmail accounts.. So they can look busier.. or something..

  12. Is it obvious I love this model? :D The pearl looks AMAZING!!!!

However, can't help but think it does look slightly different than the ones being posted on the other forum that people are ordering from "PWC"

    RG Link 1

The blue on yours looks slightly lighter than the other model, slightly less true to the gen. Of course it could be the lighting..

edit: Added a pic of the gen just for peoples references

  13. Great review again b16a2, your blooming Rolex love is becoming so obvious at this point :D

I will add that although you mentioned it; the design of the SELS are not different but in your picture you are comparing a Lug holes version (gen) to your Non lug hole version. The design is correct to gen for non lug hole cases.

Did you see what I was talking about with regard to the outer bezel edge which is polished? :)
