Hi, does anyone know if the 44mm case of Getat and jackson have the same distance from case edge to the lug bars compared to the current gen luminor cases? the reason i ask is because i used to have a MM homage and the distance of those mentioned was too short that my straps were being scraped where the leather folds when i use tubes. if not, then which cases have a pretty much bigger gap? thanks in advance!

Hi RWG, i am thinking of making an affordable rep pam. to start off i have a 6497 asian movement that i want to use and will be getting a 44mm Getat case. my question is.. what base model of pam is the easiest to make? meaning affordable but nice parts for dial, hands and solid case back since i am only using an undecorated asian movm't? suggestions is highly appreciated. and if you could post pics i would be grateful. thanks in advance!

Hi, i think the crystal might be just mineral that's probably why it has that white ring. the numbers and hands are actually the same in shade in person, it's the "panerai" and the rest of the letters are the ones that looks off. they are so much lighter in shade. thanks!

Hello, i have been a long time lurker and have acquired a 127 as a gift almost a year ago . there are some issues with it as i would expect and just wanted to ask the opinions of some experts just to improve the appearance. first off, i did try flattening the CG pin and polish it but that's about it. issues i want to fix is the crystal, it has a white shade around it. also the markers,hands are not same as the dial printing so is there a good source for these? i have read that DSN sells these but will it do the job? sorry to ask too many questions as i have been reading a lot of posts here and sometimes i get lost. here's the pics.. thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input, btw my brother emailed me about the crystal and he said it's just a reflection and no white color around it. i'll be getting this hopefully next wee to take some better pics. tanks again! best, Paul
