  1. So, I bought the 6.75 earlier this year and the movement has always been a bit twitchy (Dies frequently, stops, stutters, starts again). Compared to the other watches I have, it's really the only watch to cause problems (at this time). I just received my crystal back from Chief and I can't say it enough...FREAKING AMAZING...pics soon! What should I do with the movement...putting the stem back was a PITA...I've got it to a point of being able to adjust the time and date...but when I try to manually wind the watch to get it going, it's difficult or vice versa...so gearing issues...can't win! Getting a bit tired of the in and out motion, haha! Should I just get it serviced and call it a day? Or is there something else I can do? Thanks!
  2. WOW!!! Great shots, amazing piece!!! Enjoy
  3. Wow, great lume, great shots! Just shows how truly amazing his work is...I would say this will get him some more business!
  4. Digging the Avenger, looks sharp!
  5. Welcome from AB! Yah, it's going to get expensive...trust me, 7 months...soon to be 8 watches! Once you start...it's hard to stop Cheers
  6. Congrats, nice choices! Try to resist the PAM strain, it's deadly! Enjoy and welcome!
  7. Amazing work, it looks fantastic! It's posts like these that inspire others to embark on their own journey to Franken a watch! Enjoy Cheers
  8. Will do, can't wait! Where could I get some HI RES shots, to further the torture?
  9. Looks amazing!!! Chief IS the AR GURU!!! I like black IMO and with leather, it's quite classy! That's why I bought one as well My crystal was also on the last run, but the result did not meet Chief's high standards...so it's being redone, your pictures are simply torture now Enjoy!
  10. I completely agree, it's only been 2 months here and I've already bought 2 watches. IMO, the best thing to do is set a monthly budget and stick to it. It's like any purchase; limits have to be set prior to making the plunge...we have to live within our means. It's easier said than done of course! It's a hobby, it's supposed to be fun...but the minute I start looking at selling body parts or fluids, I'll need to seek help Cheers!
  11. Welcome to the forum...I'm a noobie as well! Glad to see a fellow Canadian on the forum!
  12. Hi There, Just thought I would finally say hi after signing up. I've been a watch fanatic ever since I could remember, it all started when I got my first watch @ 5 years old! So, you could say I have a passion for timepieces that continues to grow, just like the members here! I was burnt by a scam site last year and it turned me off the hobby. But after registering last month, I've learnt a great deal and have much respect for your vast knowledge. I've already purchased a Navi 3-6-9 with the help of forum members...purchased from Hont (Amazing dealer). To feed my addiction, I've just ordered a 6.75 from Hont as well! Thanks for the help...All the best!
