  1. Merry Christmas rollie!
  2. Well I thought I had posted my request some time ago, but it looks like I neglected to do so. Anyway, I'm interested in both the 249 and vintage dials, hands and caseset when available
  3. Thanks everyone for the kind comments! This one was a fun build, always VERY exciting when you find just the right parts to complete a build. If anyone has a rep ti/ss Panerai bracelet, I would love to see if it fits and how it looks mounted.
  4. Thanks to Davidsen's newly released titanium 025 submersible, I was finally able to complete this one. I haven't seen a franken of this model on the boards, so I thought you might enjoy seeing it. I think the contrast of the titanium and the polished SS is very nice and the gen bezel really completes the watch. Also, thanks to Speedy for getting this one done for me. Below are the details and pics. OFFICIENE PANNERAI PAM 170 Contemporary Series – Luminor Submersible PAM 170 Build List: • Movement: Swiss Valjoux 7750 • Dial: Gen Panerai 106 T SWISS MADE T Tritium • Hands: DSN • Datewheel: Leo • Case: DSN titanium • Bezel: Gen Panerai 170 • Xstall: Gen xstall • Crown Guard: DSN polished SS with titanium lever • Crown: T48 • Assembly: Speedy Added 12/22/2010 15:30 CST; I took some pics in natural light today, looks considerably different than my indoor pics under light.
  5. Exactly, Miles is spot on here. If they are knowledgable enough to spot the dagger flaw, they will immediately see the movement flaw (fake), dagger or no dagger.
  6. The quick answer is yes and no. The bezel will fit properly but will need to be affixed permanently. The constuction of the DSN ratcheting mechanism and assembly is different from OEM. I'm sure it could be accomplished by someone with machining skills but it is definately NOT Plug and Play
  7. Very nice, and movement ROCKS!
  8. Sorry, double post
  9. LOL.....Yes it's very secret, what I can tell you is I was able to find a gen dial, hands and bezel from a model with a one, a seven and a zero in the model designation
  10. It will be interesting to see Davidsens bezel construction. I will be removing the bezel on one of my 25A's coming in so I can hopfully provide some feedback soon. w0lf maybe we could meet up at Ed's shop and do it there?
  11. 25D was a transitional year where both dials were produced.
  12. I would love to have a couple sets also.
  13. Wow, flippen incredible!
  14. That will be a great looking base dial watch!
  15. Very nice Tut, Thanks!
  16. Very good to here! Will this strictly be SS or will there be PVD and Ti available at some point?
  17. Wow! Thanks for the macro, I had no idea the dial was fashioned like this...... NICE!
  18. Great piece here, very well done.
  19. Very promising, keep us posted
  20. The blue lume on the 192 was a great call, I really like it
  21. Very, very nice package and the photography is outstanding as usual.
  22. LOL, I've not posted this one over here so I thought I'd give the RWG crew a peek. I bought the strap from Risti about 6 months ago but I can't remember who listed it. It was one of the regulars there, I remember the add stating it was one of a kind and was made of Ostrich. I have been watching for something similar to pop up again but no luck
  23. If you want the best, I would use an Ultimate 104 for your project. You would lhave to brush the case but that is not a big deal. You get the bold font with the nice xstal with good magnification. Below are pics of my 086 Franken (gen dial/hands/crown) based on an Ultimate 104. If you need any help with the brushing of the case, let me know.
