Hey all

I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that sold correct hands for a 39mm Explorer 1?

Or even if anyone knew the correct lengths??  (Are they really just 1016 hands??)

There seems to be lots of places for Sub handsets but I've not really had any luck with a replacement handset for my Exp1!

I have contacted some Dealers but as it's Chinese New Year, I don't want to bug them until they are back at work  lol

Any advice or recommendations are gratefully received!

As above, avoid ADs and stick to small 'family' shops

1) place the watch down with the crystal on a flat surface

Just make sure you have something soft between the watch and the surface!

If you need to unwind it, you can remove the caseback, take a small screwdriver, twist the crown to 'wind' it slightly and slightly disengage the click spring on the ratchet wheel (I think that's what it's called?), then push the click spring out of the way using the screwdriver so the wheel can move in either direction freely. BUT... As you push the clickspring, make sure to grip the crown firmly and only let it unwind slowly between your fingers. DO NOT let it unwind freely, that way lies broken movements!

Yes, I've heard that ladies have an extra hole.

I think I will have to get one of these, although they are not cheap... Blue or white, though? White looks awesome but blue is more discreet and more wearable for work... I will just have to buy both, I think

There are some ridiculous price rises in there. Check out the DSSD. Did it really need to go up 33% in 5 years? I don't think so...

Flights are only c.£50 but add in the travel at the other end getting to and from a good friend's house that kindly offered to put me up (£40-60), the food (£50?), the drink (£50+?), odds and ends while over away...

depending on which version. the current is v1.5. You want the v2. I have the v2 black but i'm planning in going franken but with a blue dial. If you wanna franken do something that rep dials cannot replicate, the blue and brown gen SOH dial cannot be replicated in reps.

What is wrong with the blue and brown rep SOH dials?

The v2 was one of best replicas out there, as I understand it, so I am slightly confused.

I've just seen this... for $118 it seems a good price for a good-looker!
