Don't think any of the makers are going to give up their CAD. I do CAD for a living, but unfortunately don't know where to get the files. Why not model it as part of the project?

Nice! My two gen watches have been better investments than the stock market, lol. Some gens are basically free or are paying you (net effect when you sell) if you have the capital to get them.

Looking forward to the QC pics! The only issue I see people noticing on their QC photos, is that the brand mark is too far to the right on the movement. Anything else I should look for that are common flaws to this piece? I will be sure to post a review of the dealer and photos when it arrives! I actually just bought one for my gen 2254.50 last week from an AD. I am trying to sell it right now on TZ (just put it up yesterday under username "hypo"). I just happen to like the bracelet better... You can get one new from Ofrei's. It is about $215 plus shipping for the PO style strap and buckle. This is the style I'm talking about: Be careful, because the replica straps are made for the PO case, and they won't fit a SMP case. The genuine PO strap won't fit the SMP case, either.

It's not really feasible to make a whole new replica. If any group buy were to happen, it'd have to be for one of the existing models (45 black UPO would be my choice). Depending on price, I may be in for a group buy on UPOs.
